Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

My name is Ali Shoja.

I am your host.

I'm a positive mindset coach,

A personal transformation expert.

I'm a deliberate creator and Your Peace trainer.

And this podcast over here,

Unleash Your Peace,

Is Your Peace training.

Every single week,

We dive into a different topic about the internal world.

We do that over the course of five episodes published Monday through Friday.

Now these episodes are really short.

They're about 10 minutes each.

That way,

Every single day,

You have something uplifting,

Inspiring,

Thought-provoking to get you through the day,

To get you started with the best day you can possibly have.

Because when we go inward,

That's exactly what happens.

We start releasing all this unwanted pain,

And we tap into lasting internal peace.

And we live our best lives yet.

When we live from this place of joy and peace and connectedness to that non-physical infinite beingness of us that holds all of our potential,

We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.

We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.

We become whole.

We become deliberate creators,

And we create the lives of our dreams.

When you do this in your own life,

You naturally inspire everybody else around you to do the same exact thing.

And as a result,

Eventually,

We level up as a society.

And that's my wish for all of us,

To level up.

Now this week,

We have a really exciting topic.

We are talking about creativity.

It's a really fun topic.

Last few weeks were kind of heavy,

So I thought,

Hey,

Why don't we pick something kind of fun to dive into this week?

So creativity it is.

And whether you think you're creative or not,

Whether you think you're artistic or not,

You are a creative being because you're a creator.

Creativity is nothing other than turning inspiration,

Which is communication from your inner being into an idea.

How does that happen?

You don't have to think about doing that really,

Because it just happens naturally.

It's what you're wired for.

If you have ever had an idea in your life,

You are a creative being because you're a creator.

Now what happens if you don't feel creative?

What happens if you are kind of stuck and you can't find the solution?

You can't find your way out of a dark spot.

You can't find your way out of kind of a tight corner that you're in.

And you think,

You know,

There's no way out of wherever it is I am.

How can you tap into that creativity?

First of all,

What does that even mean if you can't find any solutions to the problem that you're having and how can you tap into your creativity and find that solution?

And to that,

To go back to that,

I want to tell a story about my grandfather.

My grandfather passed away about a decade ago and he was extremely good at backgammon.

He was so good.

He always won.

When you played with him,

You could be ahead by quite a bit.

You would think,

Oh my gosh,

I got this.

This old man has nothing on me.

And then all of a sudden he would make this crazy comeback no matter how far behind he was and then he would win.

And I asked him one time,

I said,

Hey,

How do you do that?

How are you so far down?

And then all of a sudden it's like every dice roll after dice roll is in your favor and somehow you find a way to win.

And he said,

It's very simple.

I use a prayer that I say and I asked him what it was and he said,

Well,

I would tell you,

But you have to be sure to use it carefully and deliberately.

And I was dying to find out,

Okay,

What is the secret voodoo thing he's doing to win at backgammon?

So I finally convinced him to tell me,

And this is what my grandfather said.

He said,

I've played a game,

However it's unfolding.

And at some point,

If I'm down or if I'm ready to win,

Whenever I'm ready to win,

I say to myself one simple sentence and that's this,

I am ready to win.

Let me win now.

Simple as that.

I am ready to win.

Let me win now.

Now that is so incredibly profound because he's doing two things in that statement.

One,

He's delegating the winning to something else,

Something deep within him that he has a relationship with.

Who is he talking to when he says,

Let me win?

He's talking to his inner being.

He's talking to the universe.

He's talking to that intelligence that drives us,

That observed us into existence.

That is part of what we are,

That non-physical beingness of us.

He's talking directly to that.

So what is he saying?

I am ready.

So he's making the decision that he's ready.

And in that readiness,

He knows that that outcome of winning is a possibility for him.

Now here's the key then for your creativity,

For you to be able to find a solution.

First of all,

You have to know in your heart,

In your soul,

That there is a solution to be had.

Now in that second part of that sentence,

Now let me win,

He's giving permission to that non-physical beingness of him to take over and show him the way,

Show me the way how to win.

So first he has to know that there is a way for him to win this thing and that way exists.

It's a possibility and it's a reality.

It's a possible reality.

And then he relinquishes the control over it and says,

Now do it for me.

And that's exactly what it takes for us to tap into our creativity.

It is nothing other than reconnecting to our beingness.

When we feel uncreative,

When we feel stuck,

That feeling is nothing other than a separation from our inner being.

It is basically sleepwalking through life.

We are walking with our eyes closed and we're banging into walls and we don't know which way to go.

All it takes is for us to open our eyes and allow that beingness of us to take over and give control over to that.

So we literally need to just scoot over into the passenger seat and let our inner being take over.

Now,

How do you do that?

How do you give control over to your inner being?

How do you get out of your own way with all of that doubt and all of that resistance that you're carrying?

How do you allow your inner being to guide you towards that which you want?

And the way we do that is we drop out of the head,

Out of the mind,

Out of the thinking,

And we drop into our hearts and into our feeling.

Because remember,

The language of the mind is the language of the human experience,

Is the language of this world,

Of this physical world,

Physical experience that we're having,

This manifested reality.

The language of our inner being is that of feelings.

It comes to us through the heart.

So we got to keep that heart open.

We got to drop out of the head,

Down into the heart.

Meditation helps with that because with meditation,

We stop being the thought itself and we start observing the thought,

Which means we become the thinker,

Not the thought.

So more feeling,

Less thinking,

More surrendering to that non-physical intelligence that lives within you and less trying to control the conditions that are around you.

That's how my grandfather didn't say he needs to do something in order to win.

He essentially just relinquished it.

That formula that my grandfather used to win at backgammon,

I have used it countless times in my own life.

Anytime I feel like my back is against a wall that I don't know what to do,

I feel completely confused.

And as a result,

Uncreative because that's essentially what it is.

When we feel like we don't have any options,

We are being uncreative because we are not being the creators that we are born to be,

That we are innately.

So anytime I feel that I am in that place of uncreativity,

Of not being what I actually am,

Which is a creative being who is here to create,

What do I do?

I say,

Okay,

I'm ready to find my way out of this.

I'm ready to gain clarity.

I'm ready to solve this problem.

I'm ready to find a solution.

And when I say that,

I acknowledge that there is a solution,

That there is a possibility for clarity,

That there is an outcome that is other than what all of my fears are telling me is going to happen.

And then I give permission to my inner being and I say,

Now let me find clarity.

Now let me find the solution.

Now let me find my way back to source.

Now let me find my way out of this situation.

And lo and behold,

It is not very long before the solution just presents itself to me because that's exactly what happens.

In my grandfather's case,

Going from losing to winning was almost instantly.

One moment he is down by quite a bit.

Next moment,

Every dice roll is working in his advantage to his benefit and it's getting him closer to that win,

Which he inevitably achieves.

So that exact thing happens in my life when I practice this formula within it.

And tomorrow we'll come back and take this a little bit deeper.
