Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.
My name is Ali Shoja.
I am your host.
I am a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert,
And a deliberate creator.
And Unleash Your Peace is such a unique podcast because we pick a different topic about the internal world to dive into every single week.
And we do this through five consecutive episodes published Monday through Friday.
And the goal here is for us to tap into that internal world,
That place of wisdom and connectedness where all of your answers lie so that you can find that lasting inner peace that is already within you.
You can release any unwanted pain that you no longer want to carry with you and you can live your best life yet.
I know that when you live from this place of joy and peace and connectedness,
You don't just incrementally improve the quality of your life,
You actually exponentially innovate every aspect of your experiences on this physical plane.
And when you do this,
You live an authentic life.
You live as your whole powerful,
Beautiful self and you create the life of your dreams.
And in that state of being,
You cannot help but to be an uplifter.
You cannot help but to be a force for positivity and expansion in your life,
In your community,
In your family and in the world.
Now this week has been a super fun week because we have been diving into the topic of duality and contrast.
The way we understand duality and contrast,
Our relationship with it is really what determines how much fun we have throughout our life and how at peace we are.
Because really what is life?
It is our experience of expansion and of creation and of relationship that determines whether or not we really truly enjoy this life experience.
That is because you came here to be a creator.
You came here to be an uplifter,
To be an expanding being.
Without contrast,
However,
There is no expansion and that is the thing.
The whole purpose of contrast is to give you the opportunity to expand,
To help you determine what you want,
What you don't want so that you can define your preferences and you can figure out what you want to create in this life.
Before we wrap up this topic,
I do want to talk about one other piece about the human experience.
That is another big one and that is the way we interpret and interact with other people's contrast.
If you believe that the contrast that is in your life is for your benefit,
It's for your expansion,
And if you believe that you have the ability to see the opportunity and the contrast you're experiencing and choose differently and therefore create a future of your choosing,
Then what would you feel when you see someone around you experiencing contrast?
Now I'm not at all suggesting not to have compassion for people and what they're going through and I'm not saying to not help,
But there's a difference between taking on other people's contrast and suffering and empowering people to make their own choices and then providing support on their path.
A friend of mine texted me a few days ago and he told me that he got fired from a very stable job and he was very nervous because he doesn't know how he's going to pay rent,
He doesn't know how he's going to stay in LA,
Which is a really expensive city.
I called him back and the first sentence out of my mouth was,
Congratulations,
I am so excited for you.
And he started laughing and I said,
Is this the first congratulatory phone call you're receiving?
And he said,
Yes,
It is.
And I'm confused by it.
And I told him,
Well,
I know how much you hated your job and you've been putting it out into the universe that you hate your job.
You hate what you're doing.
I know how much you hated your boss and look at this opportunity you just got handed on a silver platter.
Right now you have so much desire.
That feeling of I really don't want this and I'm so afraid of what might happen is so intense.
Your desire is that intense.
So what do you do in this moment of intense desire?
You sit down and you define what it is you want.
I know that my friend is a powerful creator,
That he can create the life of his choosing.
And the only thing that stands between him and the life that he wants,
That he prefers,
That he wants to create is that choice.
So the way I can provide support is by reminding him that he is that powerful,
Infinite being that can create whatever he wants to have.
Everyone starts with his choice,
With his deciding what he would rather have.
The point I'm trying to make here is simply this,
That a big part of our journey through this life is allowing others to be on their journeys.
The same way that you are a powerful creator of your destiny,
The same way that you can choose your preferences into existence.
Every person that you come in contact with has the same ability.
Every person you come in contact with is a powerful being.
And what they do with their power of choice is really up to them.
So you and I can provide support to them and we can help them see the power within themselves.
But a mistake I see often made,
And I see this a lot with parents and their children,
Is that we tend to try to take that power of choice away from someone else in the name of love.
And that is perhaps one of the biggest services we can do to another powerful,
Infinite being capable of creating anything they choose to create.
Taking that power of choice away from them because we think somehow we know better.
We don't.
We don't know what's in their heart.
We don't know their preferences.
We don't know what they would choose to create if they allowed themselves to make that choice.
So I want to leave you with this,
That the best thing,
The best service we can provide to the world is to remind every person who comes in contact with of their own power.
My ultimate goal is to remind you of your perfection.
And I do that through my Instagram account as well.
