Hello my love.
So an invitation to you now to take some sacred time with your feet.
In these times on the planet so much is changing and rooting and grounding and self-kindness of vital so.
This practice supports you to dip into all of that so take a breath and tune into your needs.
Your posture if you're sitting or lying any adjustments hip wiggles top shirt button opening and notice that you're breathing.
Beginning now noticing how the breath comes through the whole body.
Noticing that wave of movement whether bold or subtle as the air comes in and the air comes out and on your exhales allow those roots to travel down your spine from the tailbone through the bone into the furniture the ground the earth rejoining with your mother.
And simply going as easefully and as gently as you need no need to push you can always at any point allow your awareness to come back to the sounds around you.
And as your body moves and ebbs with the breath coming in and coming out as you are rooted with mother.
Notice this complete body that you're in.
Notice what's alive in your precious head and face.
Neck and throat shoulders arms and hands chest heart space all the plexus ribs and back.
Belly womb space pelvic area hips genitals legs and knees and ankles and now your awareness dropping with deep kindness to your feet.
These magical pieces of your sacred being that connect you connect you to the earth allowing your breath to imbue your feet with awareness like warm light noticing heels arches toes between the toes tips of the toes toenails tops of the feet and now skin and the flesh the bone the billions of cells breathing together making up your precious feet.
Now there is so much magic for you in your feet.
So much communication capacity for enlivened connection with the earth with your precious leg channels and there may be some numbness present in your feet this is normal.
There may be to make some pains of course all is welcome you might feel tingling have a sense of the flesh or the energetic level of existence of your feet.
So take three breaths now with kind utter welcoming of your feet exactly as they are.
And as you breathe with this awareness let it be imbued with kindness and in your mind's eye welcome them welcome your feet like a really old friend.
These pieces of your you are are you they are a part of you they are your sacred pads connecting the rest of your perpendicular being to the ground.
They want you to they want to support you in that connection rejoining your ankles and your legs and the rest of your body to that wellspring of endless communication that comes from the planet.
And in your mind's eye as you welcome your feet as you remake this sacred connection with these pieces notice the softness of your feet.
Take five breaths now noticing the softness wherever that might be.
And as you're ready allow your next five breaths to welcome your feet solidity.
Noticing their capacity to hold you to support you in all the ways they do and can.
And as you're ready now notice your feet's connection to the earth so if you're lying then maybe this is in your mind's eye the souls of your feet's connection to the earth or if you're sitting if your feet are planted on the earth feeling that contact and seeing in your mind's eye tendril roots green and gold sacred from your billions and trillions of cells each one with a root going down down from your foot from your flesh into the earth.
Knowing that any sense of disconnection is really illusory anyway and seeing your feet melding with the earth feeling that fleshy earth earthy flesh melding hello and seeing how as your feet become more and more grounded and supported the whole of your being gets to go and take a load off.
Breathing with your body as these billions of cellular roots connect you and now allowing your awareness to extend to the whole of your body noticing as it breathes noticing your presence and now you can stay here as long as time allows or if you're needing to bring the practice to a close taking a breath of thanks for yourself for taking this time allowing your awareness to hear the sounds that are around you and if your eyes have naturally closed allowing them to blink open with great kindness knowing that you can come back to this practice to your precious feet at any time.
