This is a relaxation meditation meant to be practiced lying down.
First I want you to find your way to the floor.
If you need padding that's fine.
Perhaps a yoga mat.
You can put a pillow under your head if that's comfortable.
But before you do that sit on the ground.
Feel yourself sitting with a proud spine.
Head tall,
Neck elongated.
Feel your sits bones,
Your legs out flat against the floor.
And just come into your body mentally in that first sitting position.
And then now as you come down toward the floor gently and lay flat against the floor.
I want you to take a deep breath in to your belly.
Hold it and then let it out through your belly.
Now I want you to take a deep breath in to your heart.
Hold it and let that breath out through your heart.
And now take a deep breath in,
Imagine it's coming through the bottoms of your feet,
Through your belly and diaphragm and chest up right out through the crown of your head.
Draw that breath in.
Hold it and let it out through the top of your head.
And just allow your body to now sink in and be at one with the ground.
Let your arms rest in a comfortable position.
I like to put my palms to the sky to just let there be a receiving of energy that's around me in a really comforting way.
Let your feet fall to the side and let your breathing come to a place that's really natural.
You're not pushing as you breathe in or adding any pressure as you breathe out.
And just feel your intention out of that working brain and into your body.
Let the thoughts just come and go without holding on to any of them.
You can notice them.
Just gently allow them to keep going.
Bring your thought to where you feel the breath moving your body naturally.
It could be the air through your nose or your mouth.
Could be your chest rising or your belly rising and falling.
Let your facial muscles relax,
Your tongue,
Your neck.
Let your shoulders just sink into the ground.
Your legs,
Your arms,
Your belly is soft.
Just give yourself a complete moment of silence right here.
LOVE Now imagine your whole body is surrounded by really positive,
Glowing,
Warm energy supporting you.
Just give yourself some self-love.
Know that you are enough.
That everything you do is the best that you can do in that moment.
And the next moment you can do it differently if you want.
The most important thing is to give yourself self-love and kindness and acceptance.
Everything you need is right inside of you.
