
Meditation for Anxiety and Panic

This is a meditation for conquering anxiety and panic and coming into alignment in your body, mind, and spirit. Get control of your panic attacks and anxiety and return to normalcy with this 9-1/2 minute meditation.

This is a meditation for conquering anxiety and restoring balance to your psyche.
Anxiety and panic attacks can be debilitating.
And unless someone has experienced panic attacks for themselves,
These are hard to describe to anyone and they can be hard even for you to understand.
Simplified,
Anxiety is fear of the loss of control.
When we feel the loss of control,
We can panic,
We can experience a panic attack.
It's an ingrained response.
It's a deeply ingrained primal survival response.
So when you feel like you're dying or you're going to die,
When you're in full-blown panic mode,
Perhaps it's comforting to know that it's simply a fight or flight response that's being triggered.
That is what gets activated in anxiety and panic attacks.
And it's a spiral,
An escalating spiral.
But you can control it.
You can.
And that's good news.
At the root,
At the core level,
What causes anxiety and panic is that there is somewhere inside that you're not being true to yourself.
You're out of alignment and your body learns then to slip into this panic mode.
And your body just goes into an automated response sequence then.
The panic response.
This is caused by something or somewhere inside,
Deep inside,
Where you feel powerless.
Something or someone has made you feel powerless.
The reason or reasons do not matter right now.
But this kind of anxiety can send you into a full-blown spiral of panic,
Where you feel out of control and you feel so strange and you feel like your body has completely betrayed you.
You don't understand what's happening and you can feel like you're going to die.
But there is nothing wrong with you.
Nothing.
You're experiencing a systematic survival response to feeling out of control and powerless inside or outside or maybe both.
That is all.
Now,
Let's go on our realignment journey.
Let's conquer fear,
Anxiety,
And panic right now.
Right now,
You have control of your breath.
The breath of life.
It is good to be alive.
It is good to breathe.
Let's breathe.
Focus on controlling your breath.
Breathe slowly.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
That's right.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Slowly.
Follow the breath through your body.
Get control of your breath.
That's all.
You have control of your breath.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Feel your lungs expanding and interact with air.
It is so good to breathe.
So,
So good.
Breathe in the breath of life.
It's a gift.
Now,
Breathe through every chakra.
That's right.
First,
Breathe through your root chakra.
See the breath entering there in your root.
And see that chakra expanding and contracting.
Just like your lungs do.
That's it.
Very good.
Breathe slowly through your root chakra.
And notice you are completely in control of your breath and of yourself.
Just relax.
And breathe.
Now,
Do the same with your other chakras.
Breathe through your second chakra.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And your third chakra.
Breathe in.
And your heart chakra now.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And through your throat chakra now.
And your third eye.
And finally,
Your crown.
All your chakras are open and breathing.
Breathing the breath of life.
Just breathe.
It feels so good.
Now,
See pure white and golden light from above.
Entering your crown chakra.
And coming down,
Down,
Down.
Into your body.
The light is pleasantly warm.
It fills your body and fills the space around you.
Radiating about six feet out in every direction.
Bask in this shimmering light for a few moments.
And feel its warmth and warmth.
And feel its warmth and comfort.
You are safe.
Know it.
You begin to hear a soft voice.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe everywhere you are.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe everywhere you go.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe right now.
Perfectly.
Perfectly.
Perfectly.
Perfectly.
Perfectly.
Safe.
Safe.
There is nothing wrong with your body.
There is nothing wrong with your heart.
There is nothing wrong with any other part of your body.
Nothing.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe everywhere you are.
Allow your body to go into its automatic functioning mode.
You are safe right now.
There is no need for you to try to control it.
No need.
Just let your body relax and do what it is already designed to do.
You don't need to control it.
Just breathe and relax.
Breathe and relax.
You are safe everywhere you are.
There is nothing wrong with your body.
Nothing.
You are loved.
You are loved.

You are so loved.

Allow yourself to be cradled by the voice.
The soft,
Confident,
Loving voice.
You are safe.

You are safe everywhere you are.
Believe it.
Believe you are safe.
Believe you are safe because it's true.
You are safe.
Align firmly with this belief.
Believe there is nothing whatsoever wrong with your body.
Nothing.
There isn't.
You are safe.
You are loved.

Let everything calm down with your body.
Allow yourself to come into alignment with your body.
Flow with your body.
Flow.
Align.
And trust.
You are safe.
You are safe everywhere you are.
You are safe right now.
And safe in this day.
And safe in your body.
Right now.

Allow your breathing to slow down and relax.
Allow your blood pressure to return to normal.
And relax.
Just relax.
Know you are safe.
Know it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks you should or should not do with your life and with your life force energy.
Trust that your inner knowing and your own spirit know what you should or shouldn't do.
Trust that.
Trust yourself.
Trust your journey.
Trust in a higher power.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You are perfectly and totally safe.
You are fully grounded and centered inside your physical body.
You are filled with shimmering light.
Your body is functioning perfectly and doing what it does automatically.
You do not need to control it.
You are safe.

You do not need to control it.
Just relax into automatic mode.
Let your body,
Mind and spirit come into alignment.
Relax.
Relax.
Be at peace.
And breathe.
You are safe.

As you slowly come back to your physical awareness,
