Grief can be immobilizing.
To get back on track with your life,
Take one small step at a time.
This meditation can be that one small step.
It's important when you're in grieving mode to not make any huge major life-altering moves.
Because you are not yourself,
You are grieving.
And the way forward can seem murky at best.
So move forward in the ways that you are able.
Because you have to.
Do it slowly and in small increments.
In daily life,
Allow things to unfold.
Allow yourself to be guided.
Listen to that small still voice of spirit inside you.
Be willing to trust your intuition.
And allow yourself to do something small.
But do something.
Take small baby steps forward and you will get to the other side of grief.

It's time to go on our journey.
Take a few deep breaths.
In and out.
In and out.
In and out.
Now,
Right before you,
You see a bridge.
A small bridge spanning across a crystal clear flowing river.
It's beautiful.
It looks almost magical.
It's glowing and sparkling.
You stand at the threshold of that bridge and you gaze across.
It's beautiful on both sides.
Where you are and where you cannot reach.
You stand there taking in the beauty.
All so pretty.
Breathe in the beauty for a few moments.
Soon you spy some small movement and as you gaze across the expanse you can see a figure on the other side of the bridge.
You recognize this person.
It's your person.
Your departed person.
They see you.
They smile and wave to you.
They look wonderful.
Happy.
You want to run across the bridge and greet them.
Hug them.
Hold them.
And be with them forever.
But you can't.
You realize you can't.
It's not because you don't want to.
Because you do.
The physical separation and the longing of the heart gets to be too much at times.
But there is some kind of clear barrier there on the other side of the bridge.
You can see it from where you are.
A clear curtain or veil of sparkling light.
So you can't cross the bridge completely to the other side because of that sheer wall of light.
But you realize you can go almost there.
But not quite.
You can go about three quarters of the way across the bridge.
So you do.
And even though you can't go all the way there to the other side,
You realize you can for some reason hear your person now.
Oh how you have missed the sound of their voice.
You are overjoyed.
Your person speaks to you now.
You can hear them clearly.
Take a few moments to converse and allow whatever messages they have for you to reach you and comfort your aching heart.
I've missed you so much.
I love you.
I've missed you.
It is wonderful to see your person and take in their messages and their love.
It's as if they never left.
After your conversation with your loved one,
You feel so much better.
A deep peace seeps into your soul.
A sense of comfort enters your mind,
Body,
And spirit.
And you feel your heart chakra opening.
Deep healing enters there now.
Right in your heart center.
In the form of soft sparkling light beams emanating from your person's heart center and flowing directly into yours.
You are feeling good,
Feeling comforted,
Feeling like you've gotten some direction and guidance and comfort.
Feeling like there is no separation.
Feeling joyful even.
Feeling the love and the healing right in your heart center.
I love you.
I love you.
You suddenly realize that your person has not abandoned you.
You feel and see their love seeping deeply,
Deeply into your heart center.
Healing you.
Healing all the grief and all.
You get it now.
There is no separation and you're feeling joyful.
Feeling the love and the healing.
Healing.
Healing.
Healing.
Please know that even though it feels real for the earthbound,
The separation is an illusion.
And we still have a relationship with our person.
It has just changed form.
That is all.
It is different.
But it is still there.
They are still there.
I missed you so much.
I see you.
I hear you.
We just can't be together for now.
I see you.
I hear you.
I am with you.
I never left.
I am still here.
But we each have things to do where we are now.
I see you.
I hear you.
We just can't be together for now on this planet.
I see you.
I hear you.
We each have things to do where we are now.
Please do your things and please let me do mine.
We will meet again.
We will.
You suddenly realize in order for you both to move forward,
You need to let go.
It's not forever.
It's just for now.
You will be together again.
And because you have such love for one another,
You agree to do that.
Let go of one another just for now.
That is all.
Just for now.
Filled now with the healing light of love.
You know what you must do.
You know.
You both gaze at each other and smile a knowing smile at one another.
And because of love,
Now no longer feeling sad,
Disconnected,
Or in pain.
No more sorrow.
Bay from this experience with new wisdom,
New awareness,
New healing,
And a degree of resolution and closeness as you slowly come back to your physical awareness.
Slowly you feel a deep,
Deep peace that you haven't felt in a long,
Long time.
Ready to live your life here to the fullest.
To embrace life because of love.
