Transcript

Welcome to this meditation for physical healing.

Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.

This can be lying down,

Sitting upright,

Or whatever feels right for your body in this moment.

Now gently closing the eyes and taking a few deep breaths in and out.

And then allowing the breath to resume its natural rhythm.

And on your in-breaths,

Letting yourself draw healing energy into the body.

And on your out-breaths,

Releasing pain or illness from the body.

And continuing this pattern,

Breathing in healing and breathing out pain or illness.

And if you wish,

Adding in your mind the word heal on the in-breath and release on the out-breath.

And next,

Letting go of this pattern and focusing your attention on the parts of the body that are sick,

Injured,

Or hurting right now.

And visualizing a large ball of soothing golden light in front of you.

And imagining it entering these parts and penetrating deep into the tissue.

Nourishing and repairing every cell.

And then imagining that this ball of golden light expands to encompass the whole body.

Surrounding you with healing spirit and giving you strength and vitality in your recovery.

And if it feels right in this moment,

Repeating the following affirmations to yourself.

My body is resilient.

My body knows how to heal.

My body is on the path to recovery.

And again.

My body is resilient.

My body knows how to heal.

My body is on the path to recovery.

And finally,

Offering yourself kindness and compassion as you navigate this healing journey.

Perhaps placing hands on heart if that's available to you.

Whenever you're ready,

Gradually opening the eyes and returning to your surroundings.
