In this meditation,
I wish to show you how to easily cultivate the feeling of calm and alertness in your mind and body.
Join me in a comfortable posture.
Allow your eyes to be closed.
Experience yourself inward.
Be aware of the inner sensations of what you are.
Allow yourself to go to the center of your being,
Wherever that may be for you.
Place your awareness on this center.
Where is it in your body?
What does it feel like?
As you are aware of your breathing and the ease of breath,
As you inhale and exhale,
Allow yourself to focus on this inner place of stillness.
Feel the calm that exists within you.
As you breathe in,
Direct your attention and your breath into this deeper place within your body,
This place of calm.
As you exhale,
Feel the calmness.
Throughout your body.
Breathe in,
Directing the breath into this point of stillness.
As you exhale,
Simply hold your attention in this place within your body,
As you feel calm.
There is nothing more you need to do.
Hold attention on your inner dwelling place of calm.
Breathe into this place.
Feel the growing calm that exists here for you.
Allow yourself five more deep and gentle breaths with your attention inward.
And on your newfound place of calm.
Enjoy the beauty of calm that you have cultivated.
