This meditation offers listeners loving kindness and compassion for a part that is hurt or triggered by someone or something that has happened. It is best used during moments of tenderness when it feels really hard to access calm, self-compassion, or clarity. It does not offer grounding, nor is it suitable for moments of extreme pain or overwhelm. This meditation uses "direct access", an IFS technique of talking directly to parts, so you can allow yourself to just be, to feel whatever is present, and soften into the prompts as you need. You might keep a journal to jot down insights you receive, you might just let yourself feel, and listen to your body and parts. Background Music by Benjamin Tissot.
