Music For Inner-Child Meditations: Playground Chimes
Take yourself on a childlike self-guided visualization with this whimsical piece of meditative music. Every sound made on this recording was produced on an actual playground, captured at a state park in Northern Georgia, and layered in post-production. Originally entitled, "In C-Flat: Generative Phases For Playground Instruments", composer Jason T. Ingram discovered a modern kids park that was designed with actual percussion instruments to encourage creativity in children. This process piece was created using various mallets; and a generative process chose the various time signatures in order to create polyrhythms in this unique minimalist project. Young children and infants will also enjoy the rhythmic and gentle sounds of the chimes!
