Meditative Cello Music

Several cello recordings layered with long droning tones create a mysterious and often haunting journey into the underworld of sound, to aid in sleep and deep meditative states. Since other experimental pieces we have published through the Insight Timer have gotten positive feedback, please keep an open mind as we provide you with more of our "alternative meditation music." Composed for an altered "prepared" cello, the performance features techniques to make the instrument sound "otherworldly."

Allowing my mind to float free while listening, the sensation was akin to lying comfortably in a one-person canoe flowing along a stream. Brief bright tones arose,a bird’s chirp, a bee’s gentle buzzing, a swifter current bumping the sides if the watercraft. My mind was at peace and utterly alert. Dialectic Flowers’ music is multilayered and my mind-body-soul find new pathways each time I listen.
