This meditation will take you on a journey to meet your Moon Spirit. Once you meet your Moon Spirit, you may ask for healing, guidance or messages to help with your daily life. This meditation was written with the full moon in mind, but can be done at anytime. Feel free to repeat often as you may get different messages with each visit.

Before you begin,

Find yourself a nice comfortable position,

One that is right for you.

If needed,

You can stand up or even from a seated position.

Take a good stretch in to help you realign and reset,

Then find that relaxing position for you.

Whether it is seated upright,

Laying back,

Or even laying down,

Bring your attention to your breath.

Take a big breath in to the belly,

And let it go through your mouth with a large exhale.

Take one more breath like this,

Breathing in through the nose,

Deep into the belly,

And releasing through the mouth with a large exhale,

Letting it all go.

Just notice how the air fills your lungs on each breath in,

And then on each breath out,

You're going to slowly let go of your outside surroundings,

And bring your attention inward and out,

As the outside world drifts away.

Before you journey,

Go ahead and set your intention for your meditation.

Repeat to yourself,

I am journeying to the spirit of the moon to ask what guidance I need for the month ahead.

Go ahead and repeat this intention to yourself three times.

Visualize that you are on a big hill or a mountaintop,

Somewhere high up underneath the night sky.

You see the moon above,

Big and bright,

Illuminating your surroundings.

Looking around,

You see a pathway leading ahead.

Begin following this pathway.

Looking ahead,

You see a small grove of trees.

Keep walking towards this grove.

Once in the trees,

You can see ahead the path an archway with a gate.

On the other side of this gate is a sacred inner space that is just for you.

Maybe it is a room,

Or whatever your sacred space is,

It is your space where you enter.

You see a space for you to sit down.

Once settled,

Invite your moon spirit to come and join you.

See them enter the space and approach you.

This is your chance to speak with them.

Tell them what guidance you need for the month ahead.

Just relax,

Take your time,

And listen.

Thank them for their guidance and their wisdom,

And let them know you'll be back to speak with them again soon.

And watch them as they slowly leave.

Then getting up from your seat,

Walk back towards the gate.

Entering through,

You close the gate behind you,

And turn to look at the path.

Begin walking the pathway back down,

Through the grove of trees,

Back to your starting point.

Beginning from where you started.

Take a minute to take one last look up at the moon,

And gather in its rays and light.

And let this light illuminate inside your heart.

Then gently take a big,

Deep inhale in through the nose.

Become aware of yourself seated or lying down.

And notice again your surroundings,

The room or the space that you're in.

Go ahead and take a few minutes to journal what you perceived with your moon spirit.
