Meditation on passage Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 to 8.
Find a comfortable and quiet place where you can sit.
Make sure your spine is vertical,
Avoiding leaning backwards or forwards.
Imagine a string pulling your head upwards,
Which keeps your upper body active and aware.
At the same time,
Relax your muscles,
Your jaw and shoulders,
Your whole body.
Close your eyes and start calming down your breathing.
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose.
When your chest has expanded completely,
Start breathing out slowly through your mouth.
Exhale in all the air.
Now I will read for you the passage Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 to 8.
Do not be anxious about anything,
But in every situation,
By prayer and petition with thanksgiving,
Present your requests to God.
And the peace of God,
Which transcends all understanding,
Will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally,
Brothers and sisters,
Whatever is true,
Whatever is noble,
Whatever is right,
Whatever is pure,
Whatever is lovely,
Whatever is admirable,
If anything is excellent or praiseworthy,
Think about such things.
Let not your heart be troubled,
Nor let it be fearful.
Rest in God,
Rest in the divine.
Fear separates you from God's path.
Fear is a path to loneliness.
Breathe in deeply and slowly.
And when you breathe out,
Consciously release all the fear and worry that dwell in you.
When you experience fear,
Pray and be thankful for the experience.
Thankfulness will bring you to God's peace.
Learn to experience the peace of God and anxiety will abandon you.
Breathe in deeply and observe how you are being bathed in peace and calm.
Your mind feels at rest.
Create space for new things.
Fill your heart with peace and faith.
Fill your mind with noble and loving thoughts.
Look around you and find admiration.
Look for love.
Look for good you will find.
Identify this feeling of peace.
It feels calm.
Bring your mind to this moment and this moment only.
Anxiety resides in the future and the future isn't real.
Remember that anxiety stems from a lack of faith and from a wrong focus on the things of this world instead of on the kingdom of God.
When you notice your mind sheltering in anxiety and worry,
Bring it back to the present and remind yourself that God will guard your heart and your mind.
Rest in the love of God and open yourself to peace.
Pray to be brought to love.
Let your mind be cleansed.
Let your heart be purified.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Amen.
