Hello,
And welcome to this grounding guided meditation.
During this session we will connect with Mother Earth to help us feel more plugged into our bodies.
Let's begin in a comfortable position where your spine is erect and you won't easily doze off.
Close your eyes or set your focus on a point in front of you with a soft gaze.
Now we will take a few deep breaths,
Breathing in through the nose,
Out of the mouth.
Breathe in.
Last time,
Breathe in.
Imagine a root extending from your tailbone down into your seat,
Through the floor,
Reaching all the way down to the earth.
Your root pushes through the soil,
The earth's crest,
The mantle,
Extending all the way through the outer and inner core of the earth.
See your root attaching itself to the earth's molten ball core.
With each inhale,
You pull the earth's energy up your root all the way back to your tailbone.
Breathe.
Now the earth's energy has reached the base of your spine.
With each inhale,
Her energy rises through your body.
You feel the warm,
Swirling energy gliding through each chakra,
Starting with the root,
The sacral,
The solar plexus,
The heart,
The throat chakra,
The third eye,
All the way up to your crown chakra.
Allow your crown to open,
Creating branches that reach towards the sky.
Stay here for a moment and enjoy the earth's energy dancing within you while you breathe.
Begin to pull the branches back to the crown chakra.
With each exhale,
Feel the earth's energy slowly drain from your body,
Passing through each chakra once more.
From the crown to the third eye,
The throat,
The heart,
The solar plexus,
The sacral chakra,
And finally down to your root chakra.
Just as her energy leaves your root chakra,
Feel the root that you created detach from the earth's core.
Now breathe for a few moments,
Noticing how you feel.
To release from this meditation,
I ask you to tune into your senses.
Listen to the noises around you.
Feel your body touching your seat.
Are there any smells around you?
Do you taste anything in your mouth?
Now gently begin to move your fingers and toes,
Slowly opening your eyes,
And take a moment to move however feels right to you.
I thank you for joining me in this guided grounding meditation.
Namaste.
