This Hawaiian forgiveness prayer offers repentance and transmutation to promote healing from within. By repeating this short mantra memories, guilt, shame, ill will, or any bad feelings that keep the mind focused on negative thoughts can be released.

Transcript

To begin,

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

When you're situated,

Begin to lengthen each inhale and exhale,

Taking each breath slowly.

In this meditation,

We will be practicing one of the Ho'oponopono prayers.

A short mantra that allows the past memories to be released through forgiveness.

This prayer offers repentance and transmutation to promote healing from within.

You can now release the long,

Slow breaths,

Returning back to the natural breath.

Soon,

I will begin the chanting of this mantra.

You are welcome to speak it aloud with me,

Repeat it silently in your mind,

Or just listen to the words,

Allowing them to sink in.

I invite you to keep your heart open during this meditation,

And allow any emotions to move through you.

If at any point during this meditation,

You become too uncomfortable,

Please stop and return to it another time.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I will now give you a few moments of silence to allow these words to sink in.

Take notice of how you feel.

When you're ready,

Take in a few deep breaths.

Return your focus to the senses,

Feeling your body touch the seat,

Smelling the sense in the air,

And the taste in your mouth.

Lastly,

Allow the eyes to gently flutter open and take in the space around you.

Anytime you're feeling guilt,

Shame,

Ill will,

Or any bad feelings that keep the mind hooked on negative thoughts,

Return to this guided meditation.

Thank you for joining me with this Ho'oponopono guided meditation.

Until next time.
