Lektion 1
The Buddhist Path: An Introduction To The Three Marks Of Existence
Within This Lesson Silas will give a general overview of the three marks of existence (Anicca, Dukkha, and Anatta), their purpose, why the Buddha teaches them, and some thoughts on why they are so important to know.
Lektion 2
Understanding Impermanence (Anicca): The Constant Flux Of Existence
In our world, every single thing - living or non-living - is subject to constant change. Nothing is ever static or fixed. This could be as fleeting as the delicate beauty of a sunset or the harmonious song of a bird. It's as though everything in the universe is part of a grand, ever-changing painting, with each piece evolving and morphing over time.
This concept of continual change, often referred to as "impermanence" and in this lesson we will take a look at it.
Lektion 3
Navigating Dukkha: Embracing The Unsatisfactoriness Of Life
The core and first teaching of The Buddha was Dukkha, or unsatisfactoriness and suffering. Yet how are we suppose to approach this topic and what does it actually mean? In this lecture we will approach this idea.
Lektion 4
Unraveling Anatta: The Illusion Of Self And The Freedom Of Non-Self
In this lecture we approach the concept of Anatta. This is a concept that challenges our everyday experience and, at the same time, offers a doorway to a radical kind of freedom. It takes our exploration of the Three Marks of Existence to a new level and propels us to rethink our notion of identity.
