Understanding Emotions
Emotions play a fundamental role in the human experience, making it essential for us to grasp and navigate our emotional landscape adeptly. Emotions serve as innate reactions to a wide array of circumstances and encounters. They may arise in response to external stimuli like achieving a major windfall, weathering trying times, or from internal reflections and sensations. Our emotions possess the power to be powerful and can significantly influence our actions and achievements, both for better or for worse.

Benefit Of Understanding Emotions
In this session we will look at the benefits of understanding our emotions, which include improved communication, better relationships, conflict resolution, personal growth and much more.

Recognizing Emotions
In this session we will look at emotional vocabulary. Emotional vocabulary encompasses the array of terms and expressions that people employ to recognize, convey, and share their emotions. A diverse emotional vocabulary enables individuals to precisely identify and verbalize their feelings, fostering improved emotional control, self-understanding, interpersonal communication, and overall quality of life.

Accepting Emotions
Join me in exploring the importance of embracing all emotions, even those that may seem unpleasant or uncomfortable. Emotions are not intrinsically positive or negative; rather, they mirror our encounters and viewpoints. Embracing all emotions fosters a safe, non-judgmental environment within ourselves, allowing us to delve into and comprehend our feelings more deeply.

Investigating Emotions
In this session we look at how we can investigate our emotions in a non-judgemental way. We also take a look at the ABC model of dealing with emotions, and finish off with a breathing awareness practice that will help calm you down, so you can face your emotions.

Planning To Face Emotions
In this session we look at how we can develop strategies to help us cope effectively with our emotions. We all experience challenging emotions from time to time, and it's important to develop strategies to cope with them effectively. So, in this session we will look at how to build our emotional toolkit.
