Poem: Trust

Trust. When we lose someone near and dear, trusting that their energy and spirit is always with you, offering guidance every step of the way. Written by myself for each and everyone one of you to trust. In honour of my late mother, June. Namaste.

Trust.

What am I missing?

The confusion is rising.

My soul is infused with chaos and art.

Clearly I'm caught in the race.

I guess I should count my blessings.

I feel alone like somebody else.

I gaze to your star that lights my path.

A gentle reminder of the simple things.

I feel the imprint that your heart left since you're depart.

The light shines through your distant smile,

Oh so bright.

I take time.

The wind is howling.

I stand still.

This was something to observe.

I heard a voice.

I had to listen.

I trust my imagination.

To keep the silence,

I stood still.

I've got myself,

My faith,

My hope.

I am reminded of the simple things.

When I smile,

The eye becomes wee.

I'm okay.

I'm just a breath away.

Every choice is a choice to make.

I had to listen.

I had no choice.

The wind is howling.

I stand still.

Observe.

Keeping silence,

I stand still.

As the sun rises,

Beaming through the trees,

It all comes together.

Nothing is forever.

There's always an opening,

Though soon to be shut.

I move through with grace,

Led by my heart.

I follow your guidance.

I trust I will be fine.
