It is all about perception. We are often faced with chores and tasks that we perhaps perceive that we "have" to do. This can evoke frustration, anger, resentment, and even victim consciousness. However, flipping the "I have to", to "I get to" evokes a totally different vibration, as we move from being obliged to do something to actually being privileged to do it. Many of the things we perceive that we have to do, millions of individuals would absolutely love to do - but they can't.

Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom.

My name is Daniel Roqueillo and as always I'm deeply grateful that you're choosing to join me on this path of awakening,

On this path of allowing for greater and greater expressions of who and what we are to emerge,

And on this path of allowing for the peace that is within us,

For the joy that is within us,

The harmony that is within us,

The freedom that is within us,

The abundance that is within us to well up,

To flow through us,

To demonstrate itself in our lives simply because we give it permission to.

So the theme for today is flipping I have to,

To,

I get to.

Because along this path as we have taken on this human form and we have chores that we need to be present with and we have obligations that we need to honor and there's a bunch of things that we need to do especially as we grow up and as we become adults.

And from time to time these may seem overwhelming or they may seem as a burden and I have caught just today actually I caught myself sort of complaining over having to do something.

That was something that I needed to do but I didn't really want to do it.

So there was a level of resistance built into my thought patterns and my thoughts about what I needed to do.

And so I was coming from a space of I have to do this.

But to make our lives a little bit less dramatic,

To make our lives a little bit more joyful,

And to raise our vibration and to expand our consciousness,

A tool that we can use is to seek to flip the I have to,

To,

I get to.

The thing that I had to do was actually I had to meditate.

I didn't feel like meditating but I have my intention to meditate every day.

And so that's what I did but I didn't feel like doing it.

So in my mind it came out as I have to meditate.

It was a burden for me to meditate.

And this of course can be applied to anything and everything like picking up the kids from school or daycare or going to work or filling up the car with gas or mowing the lawn or cooking or doing the laundry or you name it.

We all have our own list of things that we feel we have to do.

But if we look at it from a higher perspective,

We don't have to do these but we get to do them.

It's a privilege that we get to.

It is a privilege.

It's an enormous privilege that I get to meditate every single day.

I mean it's an enormous privilege because there are millions of people that don't get to meditate,

That would love to meditate but for whatever reasons they cannot.

They cannot.

They are not in the space,

They are not in the condition,

They are not in the circumstance that allows them to meditate.

Perhaps not even at all.

Much less every day.

Or picking up the kids from school.

It is a blessing that we have kids at all to pick up from school.

I mean what a blessing it is,

What a gift it is,

What a privilege it is to have the space and to be in the space where we have children that are safe and secure enough to go to school,

That we have enough money that they can go to school,

That we have enough money to actually pick them up.

In some countries kids walk for miles by themselves to go to school and to get to school and back.

But we get to.

We get to pick them up.

We get to have children and we get to pick them up.

It's a privilege.

Or cooking.

Or doing laundry.

Or whatever the case may be.

Whatever it is that we feel like we have to do.

There are countless of individuals that would love to do what we feel we have to do.

So when we can flip it to I get to do this.

It becomes so much lighter.

It becomes so much easier.

It becomes a joyous act.

It's an honor and it's a privilege for me to do this.

I don't have to do it.

I get to do it.

Can you feel the difference in vibration?

Can you feel the difference in frequency?

They're totally different.

I have to.

It's quite low.

It's quite dark.

It's dank.

It's like a prison.

But I get to.

My God I get to.

I'm this blessed.

I'm this gifted that I actually get to do this.

So that's my invitation.

The next time that you catch yourself feeling that you have to do something I invite you to try to flip it over to that you get to.

Just try it out.

Just try it on and see what it feels like.

If you're feeling different about that which you need to do.

So until the next time I bless,

Bless,

Bless your day and I bless,

Bless,

Bless your way.

Beautiful,

Magnificent,

Wonderful,

Radiant and powerful.

Blessed be.

Namaste.

Thank you, and bless you for this reminder to appreciate our own blessings - even the ones that may feel burdensome.
