It's time to rest.

If you need to move to get more comfortable,

Do so now.

Now that you're cozy,

You notice your body feeling heavy,

Like it has sunk into your bed and you feel safe and ready to rest.

Your body feels comfortable.

You close your eyes and let the sound of my voice help you relax.

In a moment,

We'll practice taking a deep breath.

You'll take a deep breath and when you let it out,

You'll feel everything around you getting calmer and quieter.

Ready?

Go ahead and pretend you are smelling a beautiful flower as you take a long breath in and slowly release it.

Great job.

Any worries you have drift away like a cloud in the sky.

You see the pretty blue sky and feel the warmth around you.

You can hear birds chirping in the distance.

Green grass surrounds you as you rest.

Breathe in the peace around you and breathe out.

You can hear the water from the river flowing and you imagine the fish swimming about.

They are playful and enjoy the nice summer day.

A frog sits near the riverbank.

A bird lands in the tree.

A wonderful sunny summer day.

The sun strikes your arms and you feel the warmth more and more.

The sun warms your chest and your legs,

Relaxing you more and more.

You hear the sound of the water flowing under this precious big blue sky.

You hear the sound of the wind.

You become aware of your body and mind resting.

Feeling completely relaxed.

You begin to dream and let your imagination take you to far-off places as your body rests.

When you wake in the morning you will feel energized and ready for your day.

You know that you have all the power within you to find your happiness and you are perfect just the way you are.

You are surrounded by warmth,

Love and positive light.

Sweet dreams.
