Chamunda For Protection And Clarity

Chamunda is the fierce form of the Mother who removes mental obstacles. This mantra evokes Chamunda (Cāmuṇḍā, Chamundeshwari, Chamundi, Raktandika) is a fearsome form of Chandi, the Divine Mother and is one of the seven Matrikas. She is also one of the chief Yoginis among the 64 tantric goddesses. The name Chamunda is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two demons who Chamunda killed. She is closely associated with Kali and is often portrayed as haunting cremation grounds.
