Shiva Manas Puja

This is the first track from the album, “Sacred Chants of Shiva”. SHIVA MANAS PUJA is a powerful mantra for cutting attachments. It is a devotional hymn composed by Adi Shankara over a thousand years ago, and is a prayer of pure inner worship, reminding us that true devotion arises from within, and that the mind itself can become a sacred altar when filled with love, humility, and surrender.

These recordings were designed to be listened to while in a deep state of meditation. Clear Sanskrit pronunciation, sung by Urmila Devi Goenka, is delivered in a slow, mesmerising pace which brings the listener to deeper and deeper levels of relaxation and samadhi.
