Welcome to this healing meditation.
Too often we hold on to energy from the past that gets stuck in our body and energetic field,
Causing us to get sick,
Feel stuck in life or just keep us in a place that doesn't bring us joy.
This meditation will clear away the energy that no longer serves you and will invite in healing energy that will allow your body and spirit to come back into peace and balance.
Let's begin by sitting or lying comfortably.
Gently close your eyes and just tune into your breathing.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling the lungs and belly and then release it through your mouth.
Again,
Another deep breath in through the nose.
And release it through the mouth.
And one final deep breath in.
And out.
Breathing naturally now,
We're going to perform a body scan and see if we can detect where any energy blockages or emotions might be stuck.
Starting at the top of the head and gradually working our way down,
We're going to mentally check in with how the different parts of the body feel.
Along the way,
You may pick up on sensations of tension,
Heaviness or discomfort.
You may experience feelings of sadness or anger or fear.
Whatever you feel is absolutely right.
We're not going to form any judgments around those feelings.
We just want to notice them.
So starting at the top of the head,
Just begin checking in with how the head feels and slowly work your way down.
Reaching the neck,
Check in and see what you feel there.
Continuing on down the shoulders,
How are they feeling?
And now down the arms.
Down to the elbows and on the way down to the hands.
Next,
We'll make our way down the chest.
Take your time here and really tune in.
Slowly scan down through the chest and the heart.
Take a couple of breaths here if you need to.
Then making your way down the stomach.
Down to the hips.
Remember to just notice what you feel.
We're not here to make judgments.
Moving over the hips and scanning down the legs.
Move down the thighs.
Down to the knees.
And down the shins.
Checking in at the ankles.
And finishing at the feet.
How was that experience?
Did you observe any feelings or sensations?
If you did,
Let's return our focus to that area of the body and sit with that feeling for a little bit.
Allow yourself to welcome it.
By empowering ourselves to feel,
We begin the healing process.
Now let's dig a little deeper.
Take a few deep breaths and let the feeling open up.
Let it talk to you.

Now that we've sat with it and acknowledged it,
Let's thank it.
The feeling appeared for a reason.
Whether it was to give us a message or learn a lesson,
We should be grateful to it.
Once you're ready,
Imagine a green light appearing above your head.
This green light is luminous,
It's nourishing and it's healing.
Now let this light wash down through your body.
Feel it move through your head.
Down your shoulders.
Down your arms.
Down through your chest.
Down the legs.
All the way down to the feet.
Let it fill you up completely.
Now picture that green light extending out of your body and filling the space around you.
And now let's take three deep breaths,
Just like we did when we started.
Breathing in through the nose,
Filling the lungs and belly and releasing out through the mouth.
Breathing in love and healing and exhaling all of the energy that no longer serves us.
When you're ready,
You can come back into the room and slowly open your eyes.
