Let's bring some quick calm into your day.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Inhale deeply.

And as you exhale,

Gently close your eyes.

First,

Let's focus on your breath.

We will inhale deeply for a count of four.

Hold for four.

And exhale for six.

We will do this three times as you feel your body relaxing with each breath,

Tension melting away.

Let's start.

Hold two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Inhale two,

Three,

Four.

Hold two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale two,

Now let your breathing return to its natural rhythm.

And imagine yourself standing on top of a serene mountain.

Above you is a vast blue sky with not a cloud to be seen.

Below you is a majestic view that includes a beautiful mountain lake.

A soft breeze is caressing your body as gentle sunshine descends from above.

Picture yourself there,

Surrounded by tranquility.

Feel the soothing energy of this place,

Allowing it to wash over you,

Calming your mind and body.

Silently repeat to yourself,

I am calm.

I am centered.

I am at peace.

Take one more deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this calm state with you into the rest of your day.
