We're going to start by taking a nice big breath in and exhale.
With the next breath,
Breathing in and this time on the exhale,
You're going to close your eyes.
Over the next couple of breaths,
I want you to slowly breathe in and with each exhale,
Start by relaxing different areas of your body,
Letting all of the tension in your body completely disappear.
Let's start with your forehead,
Relaxing all of the muscles in your face.
And as you exhale,
In this next breath,
Remove the tension in your shoulders and in your neck.
Breathing in again,
Paying attention to the rise and fall of your chest.
As you exhale,
On this next breath,
Relax your stomach and hip muscles.
Inhale again,
And with this exhale,
Relax the tension in your legs and your feet.
Feeling all the tension disappear with each exhale as you move further down your body until you are completely relaxed.
Now I want you to bring into your mind something that makes you feel super grateful or super lucky to have in your life.
Allow that image,
Whether it's a physical thing or a person,
Event,
Experience,
To present itself in your mind and fill in all of the details,
Trying to bring in all of your senses.
What does this thing feel like,
Look like?
Envision of the vibrant colors,
Textures.
Does it sound like anything?
Does it taste like anything?
Can you hear something with it?
If it's a physical person,
Can you hug them or hold their hand,
Touch their face?
As you do this,
Allow your body to fully get wrapped up in the feeling of how great this image is for you,
How great this experience is for you.
Allow all of your senses to be overcome and your body to fully embrace the joy this image is bringing you.
Allow your heart to really open and expand as you fill in all these details,
Filling with joy,
Love,
Happiness,
And an immense amount of gratitude.
I want you to feel how your whole body is encompassing this feeling of freedom and peace as your heart fills with each of these emotions.
Now I want you to imagine each of these emotions,
All of these emotions,
Like a bubble that fills up around you,
Filling the space that you are in.
And with the next exhale,
I want you to expand each of these feelings,
Allowing them to expand your body,
Letting it get big,
As big as you can imagine,
Expanding beyond your space,
Beyond the room you are in,
Beyond your home or whatever other building you are in,
Allowing it to expand out,
Out,
Out into the world,
Filling your heart,
Feel into the love that is expanding this bubble,
Paying attention to how amazing you feel right now.
Now I want you to stay with this feeling,
This feeling of love,
And the warmth that has taken over your body.
Breathe into this,
Allow it to anchor into your whole body.
And now whenever you are ready,
You are ready to go.
And now when you are ready,
Come back into your space,
Come back into the room,
And slowly open your eyes,
And feel ready to embrace the day ahead of you.
