I want you to sit back,
Relax,
And just close your eyes.
Over the course of the next few minutes,
I'm going to mention certain parts of your body.
And as I do,
I want you to feel that part completely relax.
Just feel each part completely relax.
In order to help you relax,
I want you to visualize yourself laying in a space that's completely comfortable for you.
And as I mentioned,
Each part of your body,
I want you to let each part completely relax.
Taking a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
I want you to feel your upper torso,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your stomach area,
Your chest,
Your back,
Completely relax.
On your next inhale,
I want you to breathe in relaxation and calm.
And as you exhale,
Feeling your hips and your legs,
Ankles,
Your feet,
All begin to relax.
On this last breath in,
I'm going to breathe in calm,
Clear energy.
And we're going to exhale,
As you exhale,
Every part of your head,
Face,
Neck structure begins to relax.
I want you to let it all go now,
And allow your mind to gently drift and wander.
Because in hypnosis,
You can easily begin to enjoy all the wonderful feelings of knowing that calm and relaxation come so easily and so naturally to you.
There are times in the past where you wanted to hurry everything and hurry everyone,
Almost like a small child on their birthday or at Christmas,
Ripping the pretty paper that had so lovingly and carefully been wrapped up by the presents,
Never pausing to really appreciate the effort somebody else had made.
You know that there are a few times when other people don't react as quickly as you did.
This isn't a fault.
This is just because each person is different and special.
Everyone works at the pace that is right for them.
And you now appreciate this.
You can be surprised to discover how pleasant it is to wait until the time is right.
Imagine yourself now on a lonely beach,
Watching the waves ebb and flow,
Sending frothy white sea spray upon the rugged grey rocks.
Hearing the sounds of the waves splashing up onto the shore,
And notice the fresh salty aroma in the air.
The gentle sea breeze blows against your skin and your hair.
There is a wonderful feeling of calm and tranquility out there.
And you are at one with nature.
There is a natural rhythm to life.
Seasons follow seasons.
As springtime turns into summer,
Tuesday always follows Monday,
Just as night always follows day.
There is no need to rush because everything comes about the way it was meant to at the exact time in which it was meant.
You can change yourself,
But you can never change another.
Only they can do that.
And you realize that being impatient as you once were didn't solve anything at all.
In fact,
Impatience possibly caused quite the opposite.
For nobody likes to be rushed and hassled.
They will do what they have to do,
And you're pleasantly surprised to discover that you can accept this,
And remain calm and relaxed whilst you wait.
And had you noticed how,
In the past,
When you waited for something special to happen,
It seemed to take such a long time to arrive?
It was as though that special event would never,
Ever take place,
And you might have become impatient and felt anxious inside.
And the more you felt that way,
The more impatient you became.
Can you remember those times?
Well,
All of that is changing now,
Because hypnosis can change our perception of time.
Just as a dream that drifts into our subconscious awareness feels like it can be over in minutes,
And yet seem to last such a long time,
So too can the opposite occur.
We can control time and use it wisely.
You now will find that when you are waiting for something to happen,
The waiting time can go by so quickly and so pleasantly.
Your subconscious mind can enjoy exploring the inner recesses of your wonderful creative self,
Coming up with new ideas,
Exciting prospects,
Dreaming new dreams,
Or simply resolving an issue you've been working on.
You can do this easily and effortlessly by entering this wonderful calm state of hypnosis,
Simply by counting down from 10 to 1,
And taking yourself back to that lonely beach where your mind can wander as it will.
Or maybe you'll use that time outside of hypnosis to do something else,
Something constructive that needs to be done.
Perhaps you will find yourself distracting your mind towards other activities,
Or perhaps you'll do both.
Who knows?
I only know that your subconscious mind is a wonderful thing.
It guides you throughout the whole of your life,
So trust in its power and the power of your mind whilst understanding the virtue of patience and enjoy this new feeling of being in complete control of not only your life,
But your mind as well.
You are going to find that from this moment forward,
You are becoming more and more patient in every way.
You find that you can remain calm and relaxed in all situations,
And you amaze everyone around you with your newfound ability to remain patient,

And relaxed.
You take great pride in this new ability of yours,
And that makes you feel good,
Feeling better and happier each and every day.
Every day,
You find yourself becoming more and more patient,
More calm,
And much,
Much more relaxed.
As these suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and grow stronger and stronger each day,
In a few moments,
I'm going to count from one to five.
And at the count of five,
You'll be wide awake,
Feeling already wonderfully refreshed and invigorated and ready to allow these suggestions to work for you.
One,
Feeling refreshed,
Patient,
And calm.
Two,
Feeling these beautiful feelings of peace and calm flowing throughout your body.
Three,
Locking these feelings into your daily practice.
Four,
Coming back into your body now,
Feeling your fingers and your toes slightly wiggling in your space right now.
Five,
Feeling wide awake,
Alert,
Open your eyes.
