Welcome to Sitting in the Power for Everyday Intuition.
First,
I invite you to find a comfortable seat,
Place your feet on the floor,
Rest your hands gently in whatever position feels comfortable.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Release any tension you're feeling.
When you feel comfortable,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
One more deep breath in,
And out.
Let your body know it's safe to pause.
Imagine a second version of yourself,
The one who handles your daily life,
Standing up from where you are sitting now,
Taking a step to the right,
And sitting down.
If,
At any point during this meditation,
Your mind starts to wander,
Direct those thoughts back to this person sitting next to you.
They've got it.
It's your time to pause.
Let's start with our intention.
Today,
We are sitting to connect to our own intuition.
Now,
Bring your attention to the center of your chest.
Imagine there a gentle candle light,
Just starting to flicker.
As you breathe in,
You sense this inner power of yourself growing with every breath and not diminishing when you exhale.
This takes no power from you.
This is effortless and natural.
Allow each breath to grow that light brighter and brighter.
No need to force it.
Just notice it expanding.
Allow the light to expand beyond your body into the room in which you sit.
You are a beacon.
You are the bright,
Pure light of your own soul,
A member of this universe.
Now,
Allow yourself to sit in that power.
No need to reach for answers just yet.
Just be a calm,
Clear presence that is already within you.
Now,
We're going to imagine the bright light of the universe,
Pure,
Steady,
Supportive,
Gently flowing towards you.
See it meeting your energy and blending with the light at the center of your chest.
Feel how your own inner power and that universal light connect,
Strengthening one another.
Notice its color or shape or fragrance or feeling.
If your mind starts to wander,
Gently take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Any thoughts about your day,
Direct those to your human self sitting next to you and gently return your focus to the light in the center of your chest that has grown and met the power of the universe.
And again,
Ask it to blend.
Notice the connection.
As you sit here,
How does this power feel for you?
Do you sense warmth or tingling or a stillness in your body?
Do words or phrases or images drift into your awareness?
Maybe it's simply a feeling of calm or a quiet knowing.
There's no right or wrong.
Just pay attention to how you experience this connection.
This is how your intuition speaks to you in your very own language.
Let's do our intuition check-in.
From this place,
Ask yourself a simple,
Everyday question.
Something small.
Do I need rest or movement?
Would tea or water support me best?
What's one thing I need to know about today?
Is today a high-energy day or a low-energy day?
Notice the first response,
One that feels calm and clear that arises to you.
That is your intuition speaking.
I'll give you a moment together with yourself and the universe.
Take one more deep breath in.
Thank yourself for showing up today.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Allow your breath to more fully expand in your body.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
I invite you to carry this sense of clarity through the rest of your day.
