Welcome to day four of your chakra journey.
Today we arrive at the center,
Your heart.
Known as anahata in sanskrit,
The heart chakra is the bridge between your lower body and upper energy centers.
It holds your ability to give and receive love,
To connect and to live with compassion for yourself and for others.
When your heart chakra is open,
You feel expansive,
Forgiving and deeply connected.
When blocked,
You may feel guarded,
Lonely or emotionally withdrawn.
Let's begin gently.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Let your shoulders relax,
Your jaw soften.
Place your hands gently over your heart,
One on top of the other.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale softly through the mouth.
Again inhale,
Feel your chest rise.
Exhale,
Allow your body to soften into the ground.
Let the breath be like a soft breath through your chest,
Tender,
Gentle,
Loving.
Begin to visualize a soft green light glowing in your chest.
With each inhale,
This light grows warm,
Fuller.
With each exhale,
It radiates outwards.
See it surrounding your ribcage,
Your arms,
Your throat,
Your entire body.
This is the energy of your heart,
Your capacity to feel,
To connect,
To heal.
Imagine this light extending beyond your body,
Into the space around you.
Perhaps you are touching those who you love,
Those you've forgiven,
And those you are still learning to forgive.
Whisper gently to your heart,
Thank you for all you have done for me.
Thank you for all that you've held.
Let that part of you,
The tender one,
Be seen without judgment.
Let yourself rest in the embrace of this loving awareness.
I will now speak affirmations for the heart.
Repeat them silently,
All out.
I am worthy of love.
I open my heart to connection and joy.
I forgive myself and others with grace.
Love flows freely through me.
I lead with compassion.
Let the words settle,
Let them echo through your being.
Imagine now that your heart is a field,
Wide,
Open,
Blooming.
Flowers,
Grass,
Wind,
Everything alive and soft.
There is room here for every emotion.
Love,
Grief,
Longing,
Hope.
All are welcome,
All are part of your human heart.
There is nothing to fix here,
Only to feel.
Begin to deepen your breath gently.
Bring your awareness back to your hands,
Resting over your heart.
Feel the warmth of your own touch,
The love you've offered yourself today.
Whisper softly,
I am loved.
I am loved.
I am loving.
Let this energy carry you through the day,
Softer but stronger.
Namaste.
