Hello and welcome to our guided meditation where I'll walk you through setting a good intention for yourself through some loving kindness visualizations.
Take this moment for yourself,
This is a time just for you so let's be present and the best way to do that is if you can sit in a comfortable chair,
Hopefully you've got one,
Put your feet on the ground,
Wiggle your toes,
They know they're there,
Put your hands on your lap,
Nice and relaxed,
Sit up straight and loosen your shoulders a little bit,
So nice and loose,
Turn your neck a little bit around,
Don't go too crazy,
But the aim is that you feel relaxed and take a breath in,
You don't need to force it,
Just nice and softly be aware of the breath coming in through your nostrils and out through your mouth or your nostrils,
Whichever you prefer.
Imagine your breath is filling up your body with calm,
With every in-breath and out-breath you feel more peace,
More relaxed and more present to enjoy this moment for yourself.
Now I want you to imagine that you're walking down a country lane,
Maybe it's somewhere you know,
Maybe somewhere that you would like to go or you've seen in a movie or just somewhere that brings you peace.
Imagine walking down that lane and it's like you're,
As you walk,
You're just on your own,
It's a lovely summer's day,
Sun is shining through the trees on either side of the lane and you feel like you're walking into some sort of magical place that no one has ever been before and there's that sense of adventure and joy that comes from like when you're a kid and you're playing,
You're discovering something new.
With every step you just become more excited and grateful to be here and as you walk you'll notice that there's a gate,
A small red gate that says come on inside and you open the latch,
It's a little bit creaky but in a good way and as you walk you see that you're walking into a beautiful meadow that has a path not many people have been down before and you see there's bluebells on either side of that path,
Bluebells everywhere,
You've never seen so many before and then amongst those there's also those tiny little daffodils that come out in spring and as you walk along you start to smell roses but that wild rose smell you don't often find when you walk closer to it,
When you find it in a bush just behind a tree,
Up to it and you smell those roses and that beautiful scent fills your whole body and just like a magical golden feeling that spreads throughout your whole body,
It just brings calm and it's actually,
You realize that you're smiling and this may be one of the most peaceful moments that you've got to have in a long time and as you walk along you notice there's even more flowers and there's beautiful big trees,
Those kind of ones that just say I'm protecting you and they come and their branches move over each other above your head like they are protecting you,
The sun shines through a little bit and glimpses of it pass through onto your eyes as you walk underneath this beautiful shaded protective hug from nature and as you walk through you can see as you turn the corner that just a few steps away there is a beautiful lake and honestly like you really feel that you're in a place that no one has ever been before,
Maybe this has been created just for you,
As you walk close there's a signpost just before the lake that says this is the lake of possibilities,
Open your heart and take a look,
So you walk up to the edge of the lake,
You see that there are some ripples and as the instructions actually said it's a good idea,
You see in the ripples as they start to calm down,
You feel your own mind start to calm down,
The thoughts get further spaced between and you feel we're so present in this moment as you look into this lake,
The ripples settle and as the lake calms you start to see your own reflection and you're surprised because you look so happy and you smile at yourself and it's like when you look in this lake all you can see is the beauty that you are and the happiness that you feel just going reflecting back to you,
There is no one in this world like you and there's a part of you feels that right now in your heart feels the special gifts that you bring to this world,
Now as you look into the lake's reflection it starts to morph into someone that you really love,
Someone that brings peace and joy to you,
Someone that you know loves you unconditionally,
They've shown it and you feel it as you look into the river and the lake of water you see their face smiling back at you and you can feel in your heart as you smile with them the love that they feel for you,
Open your heart to feel that,
To really feel it in your body,
To feel like a warmth in your heart,
Maybe you remember a time where you felt this with this person,
No matter who you are or what you did this person says to you I will always love you no matter what,
You are a beautiful soul,
And this love that you feel for them and they feel for you it spreads a beautiful love feel for you it spreads a beautiful golden colour all through every cell in your body and your whole body lights up with joy and so does theirs,
When you look into the lake you see that the whole lake starts to glisten like on a summer's day the sun is shining and the little sparkles are bouncing off the lake,
You take a breath to take in this feeling and before this person goes they ask you,
They know you and they know that there's something in your heart's desires that you would love and they would like to set a good intention for you,
In this spirit of this lake everything is possible and in this moment everything is possible with no limitations they will ask you what is it your heart desires right now,
When you know it comes to you whatever you wish there's no such thing as it doesn't it can't be too big or too small if it means something to you then they say okay they imagine in the future now that you look into the lake you see the moment in the future that you get this wish this good intention actually comes true and you tell this person whether they are on this earth or not you tell them with excitement look i got it and you feel the joy that they feel for you and you feel it for yourself in this moment you're smiling and you're just so excited this wish has come true give each other a big hug when they whisper in your ear you will always be special remember this peace of mind that you have now remember that everything is possible and when you come back you will remember this feeling somehow pick one thing that represents this whether it's a photo it could be a stone it could be a drawing that you make it could be something that you write have something that encapsulates what this wish is for yourself and it's already happened the feeling is already there and then share this with someone or on our good intentions chatter group when you share it and journal it or express it in some way it focuses that feeling and that wish and sends it out and that will help bring it back to you my good intention as you wiggle your toes and come back into the room is that you this wish does come true for you but it's okay just to leave it here and let it go and whatever is meant to be for you and your eyes good will come to pass i hope you have a wonderful rest of the day or evening and then you take this peace of mind enjoy with you wherever you go thank you for your time with me
