A guided chakra meditation to help you find an energetic cleansing of the chakras (energy centres) in the body. This meditation can be taken in any comfortable position. There is a symbol chime to move you through the meditation. There are visualisations and mantras to guide you to a feeling of energetic cleansing. You should finish feeling calm and centred. This meditation can be taken at any time you feel you need to cleanse your energy

Welcome to this guided chakra meditation.

Please make yourself comfortable either lying down or seated somewhere where you won't be disturbed and you can sit or lie comfortably and let the body relax.

Becoming aware of your surroundings.

Just notice how the body is feeling and maybe make a few adjustments if needed and settle into this comfortable position.

Let's take a big inhale together and then exhale.

Another inhale and then exhale.

And exhale.

Keep focusing on your breath.

You're going to use a range of visualization tools for this chakra meditation.

Starting with muladhara chakra,

The root chakra.

This is located right down in the base of the spine.

If you're seated you might want to imagine it at the middle of the sit bones or the bottom of the coccyx,

The sacrum.

And this chakra is red in color.

Imagine here a beautiful red lotus flower,

The base of the spine.

And your mantra here is,

I am safe,

Secure,

Grounded.

I am where I need to be.

Moving on,

Svetasthana,

Our sacral chakra.

This is orange in color,

Just below the navel.

Controls our feelings and emotions and our creativity.

Standing here,

Orange of the rising sun just below your navel.

Your mantra is,

I feel.

I feel and acknowledge my uniqueness.

I attract only whole and nurturing relationships.

Moving to manipura,

The solar plexus chakra,

Which is yellow.

Imagining just there in the solar plexus,

In the center,

The top of the ribs,

The vibrancy of the midday sun high in the sky.

Dreaming out from your solar plexus,

Your mantra is accepting.

I accept myself and I live with integrity.

Moving to anahata,

Heart chakra.

Heart center,

This color is green.

Imagine here a green rosebud sitting in the heart,

Opens up into a beautiful flower.

Your mantra here is,

I love.

I treat myself and others with compassion and kindness.

Moving to vishuddha,

The throat chakra,

Blue in color.

Imagine here a blue ball of energy in the throat,

Spinning around,

Abundance of energy,

A blue light.

Your mantra,

I speak.

I speak my thoughts clearly.

I express who I am.

Moving to anaya,

The third eye chakra,

In the middle of the eyebrows,

It is purple in color.

It is our insight,

Our intuition.

Imagining in the center of your forehead,

In between the eyebrows,

A purple jewel glistening and shining and sparkling.

Our mantra is,

I see.

I see things how they really are.

I have the ability to heal my mind and body.

Sahasra,

The crown chakra,

The crown of the head,

The color is ultraviolet,

A beam of light coming from the crown of the head,

Shining up above your head and all around,

All around your body.

Maybe it shines to light up the whole room,

The whole space that you are in right now.

Our mantra is,

I understand.

I am complete.

Reminding now the colors of all the chakras,

Starting at the root red,

The sacral chakra,

Orange,

Our solar plexus,

Yellow,

Our heart,

Green,

Our throat,

Blue,

Our third eye,

Purple,

And our crown,

A beam of ultraviolet light.

All the chakras working together in sync,

Beaming out their lights,

Their colors,

Allowing that energy to flow through your body.

Just resting here for a moment,

Bathing in the colors and light.

You are sh comparator.

Start to notice the breath again.

Maybe start to take some small movements into the body,

Wriggling the fingers,

The toes,

Maybe move the head gently from side to side.

Slowly start to become aware of the space around you as you gently blink the eyes back open.

The light in me honours the light in you.
