Welcome to day one of your way back home,
The path to your truest self.
Today you're invited to meet yourself exactly where you are,
Without needing to fix anything,
Change anything or perform anything.
This meditation is about creating a safe inner space where acceptance becomes the first step towards becoming.
Before self-belief,
Before confidence,
Before transformation.
Acceptance opens the door.
Let's begin by setting into your body.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Let your spine lengthen,
Let your shoulders soften and let your breath arrive naturally.
Take a deep inhale through the nose,
And a slow exhale through the mouth.
Let the breath remind your body,
I'm allowed to be here.
Take another breath,
This time softer,
Slower,
Kinder.
Feel your body responding,
Relaxing,
Listening.
There is nothing to judge in this moment.
You do not need to be better to be worthy of belonging.
You do not need to be different to deserve your own compassion.
Bring your attention gently to the center of your chest.
Place where self-judgment often hides.
Where stories of not enough try to take root.
We're not pushing these feelings away,
We're not arguing with them.
We are simply noticing them like small waves arriving at the shore.
Feel the breath whisper into that space.
Soft inhale,
Slow exhale.
And silently say to yourself,
I'm allowed to be as I am.
Let that settle into you,
Feel what happens when you don't reject who you are,
When you stop resisting your experience and simply allow it to exist.
You don't have to like everything about yourself to accept yourself.
Acceptance is not approval.
Acceptance is honesty.
Acceptance is understanding.
Acceptance is softness towards your humanity.
Bring your awareness now to the sensation in your body.
Let them just be.
If there is tension,
Let it exist.
If there is heaviness,
Let it exist.
If there is calm,
Let that exist too.
Everything is welcome here.
You belong to yourself,
Not because you're perfect,
But because you're real,
Human and living.
Feel the warmth of your breath supporting you.
Feel the weight of your body grounding you.
Feel the moment holding you.
Acceptance is the beginning of emotional safety.
Safety invites softness,
Softness invites truth and truth invites growth.
Place one hand gently on your heart and one on your belly and simply feel yourself.
Not fixing,
Not judging,
Just being.
And simply repeat,
I allow myself to be human.
I make space for all that I am.
I belong to myself.
Stay with these words for a few breaths.
Let them become real.
Let them become embodied.
When you're ready,
Take a deep inhale and a long,
Gentle exhale.
Today you accepted yourself,
Not the story of who you should be,
But the truth of who you are.
And with acceptance comes possibility.
Slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
Welcome home.
