Cindy Paulos and I wanted to talk about the power of prayer.
Now some people will online put the prayer sign anytime that you ask for prayers and I always never know if they really are praying or not but you know the intention is goodwill.
But the truth about the power of real prayer is that it's not from you.
You ask that higher source and I'm gonna say God because that's what I call the highest source.
Some people have a problem with the word God.
I understand that and I'm sorry if that's the case please use whatever word works for you.
The point is that it's not about you sending good thoughts.
It's about you talking to that highest source within and you going to that place where you can have a conversation.
It's such an amazingly powerful gift to be able to talk to God,
To be able to have a heart to heart,
Soul to soul conversation with what you know is the source of all that understands and is there you know with you from the beginning to the end and beyond.
That power of that resource is so very valuable and I've gone through some very challenging times lately and I know many others who have as well and I am seeing that many are realizing that it's more than they alone can handle.
So what do you do at that point?
The thing is of course if you are worried,
If you are depressed,
Going into a state of meditation can be more difficult because you have to clear that out.
You have to have the time to do your breathing.
You have to have the time to be aware of what's happening.
I always do an hour meditation,
Maybe an hour and a few minutes and this morning it took me about 50 minutes to clear my mind out of that hour just to clear stuff out,
The worry out,
The thoughts out,
What's been going on.
But at the end of that 50 minutes I was able to be able to be in that source that is the resource that is that God source within and I was able to say my prayers and have a conversation that made me feel much better.
There's such a great power in being able to do this.
Now it's not that other people may not or counselors or other people may not have a power to connect and talk to other people.
That's valuable but it's not the same as going to that place of silence within and going deep within and asking for that inner beautiful resource of all love and light to come and communicate with you and guide you and direct you and help you.
And some of us are people who are ones who are always helping other people.
I know there's many people who are out there working to help others but sometimes the people helping others all the time have a harder time asking for help themselves and that ability to be present and talk to God and to receive help and to ask for help is such a huge huge important gift to be able to do and it's a lesson that you can learn if you do go within and ask for help and you will know if that's difficult for you or not.
Now some people I see are always asking for help online you know you've seen some of those people but then there's those who only ask for help when they need help but I don't see a lot of posts where they actually are connecting with the one resource or say they connecting with the one source of God and asking for help inside.
I'm sure there are some but the thing is right now it's strange a lot of people get,
Dare I say negativity,
Are given a hard time for praying or saying God.
I don't know how our world got to that point but sometimes there are those who don't like it and I'm sorry if that's the case I really am but I have had this amazing connection with God since I've been about 13 to 14 years old and my experience with God has been so life-changing and so powerful and the experience of that ultimate love through the one resource is is once you experience that you can never doubt that amazing gift of that presence of God.
Now a lot of people don't go there you know I understand it's difficult but I think more people are than we have ever seen them do before and if you don't still there's faith right there's that there's that inner faith that comes when you need it when you need to go to that resource and that source of all and that faith is a beautiful gift that having that faith even when you are not sure where that's coming from exactly having that faith is true gift you look you will know if you've gone there and you have asked for help and you feel that release and that help coming that energy I'm at the point right now I can actually sense energy what anyone is even praying for me I sense it in a way that it's like an energy field like I feel a tingling when I have others praying and and I know someone is sending me positive energy through God now in the same strange way if someone's saying negative things or doing something negative towards me I have my ears ring and I know that there's something going on where my ears are ringing that someone is speaking negatively about me and so I ask God help them to protect me from that negativity I know that they sound strange but it's way it's been for me for a long long time and it works it for me it works and that's because on this path we find out what does work for us what really does even if it's difficult even if the times are difficult and they have been especially for me lately you still have that inner faith and you still have that inner light you still have that inner love you still have that God send that resource of power right there inside you that you can turn to and I think that's so important to remember and recognize and not have to hide and unfortunately a lot of people these days feel like they have to hide because they will get negativity if they say these things so I felt I had to say these things at this time and I had to thank those who do understand the power of God and the love of God and whatever you may call that resource and that source of all I respect that as well but there has to be some connection you have that you can go there and be lifted by that light and that love and that that beauty that exists in heaven that can come to earth and that can inspire you to deal with the things that are going on your life in the world in a much better way I'm not gonna do a prayer right now I'm not gonna do a meditation but I suggest you do I suggest that you go to that place inside that you go to that sacred place inside and take a moment to connect and say a prayer I really am grateful for you being there and being able to listen and understand it means so much to me and I bow in deep gratitude and love
