A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Pollos,
And I wanted to talk about.
My background,
Which is being a metaphysical minister.
Which is really not the typical background a lot of people have.
And a lot of people don't understand metaphysics and the way it's approached.
But I've been practicing metaphysics since I've been about 13 years old.
My stepfather was Dr.
Paul Masters and.
He started that University of Metaphysics,
Which is continuing on even after his passing.
And metaphysics embraces the truth that you find from within.
It embraces meditation.
It embraces being on that path with a certain dedication and honesty.
That a lot of people may not understand.
And because of that,
I.
.
.
I'm open to all truth,
You know,
And to all truth.
There's been a lot of unfortunate separation between different religions,
And unfortunately,
Religions a lot of times have become commercial to try to get and raise more money.
But at the core of the religion,
When it started,
It wasn't that way in the beginning.
But I happen to tend towards loving both Buddhism,
And I have studied Buddhism and practiced Buddhism,
And I'm also definitely a mystical Christian.
So with those two,
I find certainly.
In my background as a metaphysical minister,
I do not find a conflict.
And I find a certain wonderful ability to understand the teachers.
Behind each.
And the source of the teachers.
Behind each.
That definitely were attuned to the highest form.
Of being enlightened.
And that enlightenment is truly a great gift,
You know,
Buddha.
Had quite an amazing story,
And it's a great story,
And what he offered in this teaching.
Exists that all these years later still exists and still stands strong.
The same with Jesus Christ and the master behind that Christian for faith,
Which has gone through so many changes through the years.
But if you always go back to the source of the teachings and the original truth behind it,
There's inspiration there that is timeless that will still reach you.
And can be followed,
And can be.
Touched as you go inside into meditation.
Now,
I don't know how many people do that,
But that's been my practice.
My practice has been able to.
Go inside and.
.
.
Turn within and meditate.
And then also be open to finding that inner truth that comes from the source of truth.
And that is,
It's an interesting journey.
And it means being very honest and very open and also very,
Very dedicated to what comes.
Through the teacher,
And that's.
Isn't always clear?
I can't always say exactly.
In that teaching that comes from within,
Or words that come from my meditation within.
The exact source of that teacher.
I get the energy behind it.
I get the truth behind it.
But I know it's influenced definitely by that,
But it still has to be.
Lived with the principles.
Behind it as well.
So in other words,
It's not just a matter of going with them and feeling good.
It's not just a matter of.
.
.
Of getting that inspiration,
It's a matter of living it as well in your life.
Living with those.
Principles,
Which were founded for a good reason,
You know.
It took a lot to build those and find those and then to follow them and then to find the reason behind them.
So there's many layers to this.
I don't want to get too complicated,
But I did want to explain that source that you can touch within.
And how you don't have to limit it,
How you can go to the resource of the source and you can ask for that guidance,
Whether it be Buddha or the energy of Buddha or the teachings of Buddha.
Or whether it be Jesus Christ,
Or maybe for me,
Of course,
It's been Mother Mary in many cases,
Because I certainly had a deep connection with her as well.
So all of those sources for me have guided me in my life and have inspired me in my life.
And I always turn to them and find such solace and such truth and such understanding that it would be almost dishonest to try to pretend it didn't exist there.
Now,
I've certainly seen over the many years I've been doing this since I started when I was about 12 or 13 years old.
That people have rejected,
Unfortunately,
A lot of people have rejected the teachings of Christ.
And a lot of people don't even want to.
I've seen people even on Inside Timer that get upset if I say Jesus Christ,
You know,
And it's like,
What?
Why?
Why would you?
But they've been raised in a Christianity that was for them,
In some cases,
Very prejudicial or had some damage to them in some ways.
So it's sad what's happened over time,
But I'm not following that path.
I'm following the teachings from the source.
It's hard to explain unless you've been on that path and understand from that path the gifts that come and the dedication that comes when you experience the love that comes from those sources.
So I want to share that love with you.
I want to share whatever I get with you.
And I don't want it to be misinterpreted or misunderstood.
I don't want to have to back off and not say it's Christ or Christianity.
But a lot of people may have their own problems.
I guess they're projections of what they've gone through and their own pain.
And I never,
Part of my teachings are never to cause pain,
Never to cause harm,
To always bring more love.
So with that in mind,
I just wanted to explain that.
And bow in deepest gratitude for those that do understand,
Because a lot don't.
A lot of people don't.
And I've gotten used to that,
But I really appreciate the people that are open to understanding what's being offered here.
And I'm so very grateful.
Sending you much love and gratitude always.
