Transitions And Beginning Again
Many people are going through changes in their lives. There are gifts that come with changes and letting go. As we change our attachments to the past and allow a new to come, we can objectively begin to see what is most important to us.

A very big aloha.
I am Reverend Cindy Pollos and I wanted to talk about transitions.
Transitions that are happening for so many in life.
Now we always celebrate in our time and space transitions of spring and the opening and the beautiful occurrence of rebirth that happens and that may be the celebration of Easter and the symbolism of the old letting go of what has died and what is new and what is going to be reborn again.
It's as old as time and here is this wonderful gift that we can experience of the transitions that may be happening in our life.
The transitions are always an interesting thing and they flow so naturally in nature.
But at the same time we're seeing transitions in ways of consciousness that are happening as we see changing of times.
And the changes of what's going on in the world seem to be accelerating and sometimes they seem to be more drastic because of what's happening with the world and how the changes are happening in nature.
And we're seeing that happen with the fires that occur.
They occurred here on Maui,
They occurred in Los Angeles and in many other places.
We're seeing people experience major changes in their life.
And when you have a major change in your life it can happen with something like a fire,
It can happen with the death of a loved one or a divorce or sometimes just an awakening of sorts.
And these major changes in living take a really good meaning when you can stop and embrace them and look at them as an opportunity.
An opportunity to rethink your life,
To reassess what's really important to you.
And for some it might even be the ability to look at their life in a way that they may be ready to pass on to another way of living,
Being or even dying in this life and moving on to the next.
All of these transitions are opportunities.
They're opportunities in every major transition you make.
And so it's important when you have any major transition to really stop and take a look around and see what is the direction you're taking and if it's a direction that you embrace that makes sense to you,
That is again what you really want to accomplish.
I think more and more people have been experiencing this as there have been major life changes and there's certainly proof that more and more people are taking time to travel and certainly more and more people are even getting trailer homes and going out and just living in a trailer and finding that they can explore their life without having to spend as much money as homes have come to be.
So these interesting transitions are very powerful and beautiful opportunities.
Now it doesn't mean they're not difficult to face.
It doesn't mean that there isn't going to be that experience that you experienced with the death of anything.
There's always an interesting thing that happens when the old has to be let go of and you have to be open to experience the new.
And so many people are having to do this and face this now.
And it's a price you pay that is a worthy price because it gives you an opportunity to explore what your life was like,
What has been going on,
Why you were there in that situation,
What you learned from that way of life,
To be grateful for it as you would any life when you're about to let go of the old.
Whether it be life on this plane or another,
You can embrace the new.
It's a beautiful thing to embrace and to actually look at your lessons that you learned and to say thank you for those lessons and then open the door to the real amazing possibilities that exist as you begin another way of living,
Another way of being.
And the opportunity that is there is you choose to refocus your life and to reinvent your life to be something that you have chosen that is workable for you.
Now a lot of times people spend much of their life just kind of being drawn or having to deal with situations that were not necessarily in their control or that they didn't feel was in their control.
But then when there are these major changes,
There's this amazing ability to stop and look and say,
Okay,
Now what if I were to really make a choice as to what I wish to do with my life and what I can afford to do with my life and what's a good way of living for me.
And what an amazing thing that this is that is happening to so many people.
And there's so many lessons that are open to be learned in these situations.
One is letting go,
That great gift of letting go,
Whether it be letting go of the place you were living or letting go of the things that you had or letting go of old relationships or letting go of your old way of being and embracing a whole new look and a whole new way of being and choosing what is important to you.
And I think I'm seeing more and more people go through this and sometimes it's by choice,
Sometimes it's because of circumstances,
But whatever way you come to that place,
It's so valuable to just stop,
To just stop and really ponder and decide and take a look at what you wish to do with the time that you are here.
What is most important to you?
Are you on that path to live a life embracing what is most important to you?
Maybe making a list of that,
What is most important to you?
Then try to find a way to how you would embrace that gift of what's most important to you and then put that to work in your life so that you actually can lay the groundwork.
And the groundwork for this takes a little clarity and I would highly recommend taking time to meditate and to possibly just before you make any decisions,
Take a little break in your life to really get to a place where you can be objective.
If you're working intensely,
As many people I know here are doing two jobs,
Sometimes three jobs just to survive,
It's hard to think clearly when you're trying so hard to survive that you don't have any time to pause,
To stop,
To take a look at your life and go,
Is this what I want?
Is this what I want with my life?
Is this what I wish to accomplish and am I accomplishing what I'm here for?
And in meditation and time out,
Even if it's just on the weekend,
To take the time and really look at this is a super valuable gift.
It's a really true gift to be able to stop and find out to you,
Are you living the life you wish to lead?
Are you accomplishing what you came here for?
And if not,
What can you do to change it?
What can you afford to do?
How can you accomplish that and what would it take?
And creating a plan like that really helps in taking those steps to make that happen.
And I have to say there's so many people making transitions now.
There's many stories and many books written about just this because there's this amazing transition happening in life for so many people.
And I think it's really valuable.
I think it's really a very good thing.
It doesn't mean it's an easy thing,
But sometimes what's really good takes a little bit of work and takes you really being able to let go.
And I always come back to that phrase that comes almost as a mantra to me,
Let go and let God.
Let go and let God be in control.
So as you're creating this time and space to look at how you could let go of the past,
Let God be part of your compass,
Your guide.
And let that energy of that higher purpose that you have be guided by that intention and that connection to your soul and how you are living your life and able to make any transition you make with that beautiful ability to know you're aligned with that highest purpose and your highest goal and your highest good.
And that's such a beautiful thing to see happen.
It's really,
It's an amazing gift.
And even though it may not be easy,
What you can get out of it,
What you accomplish by it is so important and so valuable that you will find that you are so glad that you were able to get through that.
And there's so many ways to do that,
But I will tell you meditation and taking time to explore that deepest interconnection you have,
You have right there in you to yourself is always going to be one of the most valuable things that you can do.
And I send you my deepest love and encouragement to make this transition,
To make the time to be able to look inside and reset and reboot and refocus your life to make it the way you really are meant to be living it.
God bless you and love to you always.
