A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos.
I thought I'd talk about the unspoken prayers.
And I often feel in meditation,
We get to a point.
Where we can reach the deepest part inside ourselves.
And a lot of times that part doesn't have words that go with it.
Now,
What is there is an energy field of feeling and awareness.
And those are beautiful,
Powerful things.
And perhaps they are the elements of what can be in an unspoken prayer.
But I definitely believe in the power of prayer.
And it's interesting how people will often just give a little prayer sign,
You know,
If you're asking for help or something.
Or if someone's ill,
You'll see so many.
Or,
You know,
Anytime people put a trying situation up,
You'll see lots and lots of people who post their prayer signs.
That is an energy that is.
Limited.
The prayer sign is just a sign when you've really have that connection of your heart.
That is going out.
To the source within that connects with God.
That is an amazing,
Amazing journey of energy that goes on.
And when you don't even speak that,
But just have that connection.
And that awareness that you connect with.
To that source.
Then there's also this opening,
I think,
Of sorts.
An opening that is like.
.
.
Okay,
Okay,
I know that that energy and that force of light and that force of love and that creative force is there and I wish to have that force reach that part inside myself that is connected to it in this now moment and to be able to be reinforced and guided and directed and helped in many ways.
By that connection.
That's a lot to ask.
You know,
It's interesting how.
.
.
We wouldn't even ask probably most people we know for that.
But we can do that when we go within.
And we're honest with it.
Inner need to connect.
And to get guidance and to get direction.
And at the same time.
I have no words.
That can attach to that.
Just this energy field.
That is able to fill.
What is needed in that moment,
In that now moment.
I'm not sure if you've ever done that,
But it'd be an amazing.
Gift.
That if you could just go into that place that we go to.
In the quiet with the breath which we breathe to go in and we get past the passing thoughts.
And we just reached that.
Inner Sanctum.
And it is like an inner sanctum.
It's an inner church of sorts.
It's an inner being presence that you reach when you're sitting there meditating.
Well,
I sit on the ground and meditate,
But when you're there and you're like the candle and and you have incense possibly burning or You just allow that energy to come where you're sitting in that sacred spot.
Something really amazing happens.
Something really personal and very,
Very true.
Intimate.
Happens when you're open.
And you're real and you're asking for it.
For that energy field.
To enlighten you too.
Guide you,
To direct you,
To help you.
To be with you.
That takes an opening to receive,
Of course,
Takes the trust.
And it takes the opening.
And it takes.
.
.
A lot of patience sometimes.
As I've been doing this throughout my life.
I found it isn't instantaneous always.
We're used to pushing a button and having something happen immediately.
It's like right now.
But life is not like that.
Life can take time and answers can take time and having guidance from within.
Can come in many,
Many,
Many ways,
And it isn't always the way we might imagine.
But that's amazing,
Isn't it?
Creates this amazing situation.
Where we can get guidance through many resources.
It's just really beyond belief the amount of resources we can get.
What we're looking for in help.
It could be through another person.
It could be through a movie we're watching.
It could be through music.
It could be something we read.
But the thing is to be open and recognize and receive that help.
To be able to get what we need.
When it comes to us.
When it's presented to us.
Importance again of that openness.
Of that connection,
That inner connection.
And in this case,
The awareness.
That that's part of what you were going through that is being answered,
That awareness is Kind of like a bell ringing.
You know,
Something rings.
I love that term,
Ringing true.
Isn't that an amazing term?
It rings true.
When something really rings true to you.
That's a great gift,
You know,
Something's going on and you have to be aware.
It's like,
Wow.
That's connecting,
That's ringing true.
So to be able to be receptive.
To what rings true.
To be receptive to the help.
That has come when you were in need.
Is such a beautiful thing.
And then to be thankful.
Than to be grateful.
And to be.
Just,
You know,
In awe,
Perhaps.
Of that gift that comes when you need it.
It's really a beautiful part of this.
Process,
This process,
This so amazing process of being alive.
And I just wanted to talk about that and bow in gratitude to you for being there.
Being part of that process.
And I'm so very,
Very grateful to you for that.
Thank you.
