My name is Reverend Cindy Pollos and I wanted to talk about following your heart and finding your passion.
In life it's so important not to be distracted by the small stuff.
You know,
The stuff that will take you away from what's most important.
And I love the quote,
You know,
It's all small stuff.
There's so much in life that we go through that is distracting us from what's most important.
And there's such an important value in really staying true to your heart and soul and finding what your real energy is and where you can follow your heart in life.
As you follow your heart,
As you follow that path,
You will get a strength and a perseverance that is hard to describe,
But it's that amazing power of love and doing what you love that can really see you through a lot.
There's so many things we might do to pass time that doesn't have any direct correspondence to what we're doing in our heart and what's most important in our heart.
But if you make a point of doing and giving energy and time and love to what your true passion is in life,
You get fed this amazing gift of creativity and power and belief and finding others that understand that's communicated by what you do in many ways that support you.
When you follow your heart,
Others can sense that.
When you follow your passion,
It is actually communicated in an interesting way.
A lot of times not even a verbal expression,
But people realize that you are in line with what you love doing and what you want to do.
Now,
It's not necessarily easy to make money doing that,
So sometimes you have to have a couple of jobs,
A couple of ways of bringing income in.
But at the same time,
It's amazing how when you do follow your passion and your heart,
How you attract others to you that are also following their passion and heart.
And when you put that together,
When you have that energy,
It's really communicated and it really reaches people in special ways.
So that gift,
That wonderful gift of understanding what's most important to you in your life is really wonderful.
At the same time,
I need to express how important it is to be realistic.
I've seen people who thought they would just do something that they really enjoyed doing and had no money coming in,
And then they found themselves out of money and really in trouble pretty quickly.
So yes,
You have to be realistic about your source of income in your life,
But it doesn't mean you don't do what you love doing as well.
And it may take a little bit of balance,
You know,
It may take a little more work and time to create what you wish to create and also have a job to support that.
I know many great musicians who are also working other jobs as well,
And it gives them the basis to be able to do what they wish to do and then invest in what their real creativity and their belief and their passion for music is.
So it's very possible.
It's not necessarily easy,
But it's worth it.
It's really worth it.
And I thought I'd take a little time to meditate and let you go inside and really get to the heart of the matter,
Get down to the basics of what is going on in there,
You know.
And meditation is such a great gift in that way,
Because your time inside,
Your time communicating with your inner self and your higher self,
It will give you feedback,
It'll give you some recognition,
And it'll also give you support.
And that's what happens when you have this relationship with your inner self.
So we're going to get comfortable and take some deep,
Deep breaths and just really allow yourself to be aligned with your body.
Breathing deeply in,
Getting my neck aligned there,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in deeply,
Holding your breath and then breathing out.
And my neck cracked again,
Thank you.
Breathing deeply in,
Breathing that breath out.
Going deeper with each breath as you breathe in and hold your breath and allow yourself to release every thought,
Every concern as you breathe out,
Out,
Out.
And taking that even further as you allow that energy to be completely aligned throughout your entire body from your feet,
Your ankles,
Your calves,
Your legs,
Your thighs,
The base of your spine,
Your root chakra,
Your second chakra,
Your feelings,
All those feelings.
Moving it on up to the third chakra with all the energy,
Amazing amount of energy with all the third energy there.
Body has so many key elements in that area of your third chakra.
Thanking them for the work they do for you and allowing the energy go up into your heart center where the heart of the matter is,
The heart of the heart,
The truth of your inner self and your love there within your heart.
And as you go into your heart,
Allow yourself to be surrounded with that lovely energy of white light all the way around you,
Above you,
Below you,
In front of you,
On either side of you,
Protecting you as you go deeper inside.
And let yourself go to that place within your heart that knows the truth of what you love.
And now this may take some deep exploration.
Sometimes we don't listen to our heart a lot.
And that's because we have other things we're doing that we think is important.
And our hearts,
They're waiting,
Just waiting to be heard.
So let your heart be heard.
What would your heart wish to tell you,
Wish you to know?
Getting down to the heart of the matter.
Trusting that energy.
Trusting that gift.
Trusting that love.
And allow that love there in your heart to expand.
So often we close it down.
Allow that heart to grow and open and be brave and open.
And allow that heart to grow and open and be brave as the heart can do.
Ah,
That wonderful energy of the heart of the heart.
Let it expand and continue to grow and flow through your spine and up to the throat.
That creative energy area there and on up to the third eye where the light of lights is inside.
And flowing up to the top head chakra all the way up and around you.
Tuning into that resource of that one source of all.
Dwell there in that sacred place to be attuned to the source.
To ask for guidance and direction.
There is such a great love and power in that wonderful resource.
That creative center of all.
It will feed all of your creative efforts.
It will feed that energy you need.
Let it fill you entirely.
Breathe it deeply in.
Let it feel good.
And totally let it come fully into your consciousness.
See it.
Observe it.
Allow it to come back into your everyday thought process in your mind,
In your body.
And feel yourself being inspired by this gift of connection.
Breathe that in,
That wonderful inspirational therapy.
And know that this is a gift you can call upon at any time.
It's unlimited.
I limit the time I have here with you doing it,
But you can continue on.
I usually take an hour to go inside with this energy.
So please feel free to allow this energy to continue to feed you,
To inspire you,
To uplift you.
