I'm Reverend Cindy Palos,
And I'm very happy to be here with you today.
And I wanted to talk about your inner compass.
And how you let that inner compass guide you.
On the way.
The inner compass is a precious and powerful gift,
A really wonderful gift to have.
Because that inner compass is connected to the real you and your soul within.
And it will speak to you in ways that's very interesting and guide you in ways that are very interesting.
I think it's also related a lot to intuition,
Your intuition.
And how you describe or think of intuition.
That intuition again is related to something inside you.
And that inner self.
That can guide you as well.
So there's many times in life we.
.
.
Are having questions about what we should do and where we should go and what we should do.
Be following.
And in changing times,
As we've certainly been through,
Very many changing times.
It's very good to have that inner guidance and that compass to follow.
You know,
Just as in the old days,
You know,
If they were going to take long trips across the ocean,
They'd have that compass.
They use that compass and we also can use our inner compass to help us in many ways in deciding and following our intuition.
And the inner guidance.
I think that's best.
Clarified when we go into meditation.
When we're connected.
We can also ask ourselves questions.
And we can ask for higher guidance as well.
There's nothing wrong.
With asking for help and guidance.
And praying and asking for direction on what to do and where to go and what should I be doing.
It's a valid question that a lot of people have in their lives.
The thing is that sometimes it's good to just wait until you really know.
There's a lot of changing things going on.
It's been interesting astrological times.
So sometimes it's really good to just take an overview.
And I think one of the best ways to take that overview is to go inside in meditation.
And to connect with your higher self and your soul.
And to make that inner connection and follow that inner guidance that you have.
It's interesting,
I used to try to have,
I'd use my hand or an arm with a yes or a no.
If it was solid,
It was one thing.
If it was up and down,
It would be no.
You know,
I'd use those different things.
And then I found out that there really was too much fluctuation.
And ways to interpret that.
And I gave that up because it was not really clear.
And it could be influenced by my own mind of what I wanted to happen,
Which is very possible.
And I gave that up and I just had to trust a higher source within me.
And that higher source within me is present also in you and always there.
And we always can strengthen that connection.
When we do meditate.
When we do.
Go within.
And when we allow that soul to be our compass and guidance,
Let that direct you and guide you.
And it can come in many ways.
It can come in many ways.
Is this story,
I'm sure you've heard it many times,
Someone that was in a terrible flood situation and needed help.
And so there were people that came along.
And said,
I can help you.
And they said,
Oh,
No,
No.
I've asked for God's help,
And he'll send someone.
And it's like three times different people came.
And then,
Of course,
At the end,
He passed away,
And he said to God,
I asked you for your help.
How come you didn't come and help me?
And then God said,
Well,
I sent you three people.
And to help you,
And you didn't follow any of them or use their help.
So it's,
Again,
How we understand the ways that help comes as well,
And the guidance comes.
It's very interesting.
How we interpret that.
And I thought we'd go into and do a little meditation here to go within and to experience it somewhat.
And I always love to just take some wonderful deep breaths.
And as I do that,
Ooh,
The wind,
The spirit wind comes through the window.
Ah,
Wind through the windows and I'm breathing it in.
And holding my breath.
And just releasing it.
The uh huh.
Breathing in,
Ah,
And breathing out,
Ah.
And just allowing the thought to be.
Free.
Any thoughts,
Just let them pass through.
Pass along like a river flowing through.
Breathing in deeply.
And breathing out and allowing a wonderful protective light all around you,
Above you,
Below you,
In front of you,
On either side of you.
So you're surrounded in this wonderful protective light.
And breathing it in.
Breathing it out.
Feeling yourself going deeper inside.
You might be feeling yourself just calming down and sensing more of your awareness within.
And as you do that,
You might actually.
.
.
Allow yourself to be guided from your higher self,
Your soul.
And connect with that source of your energy there within that's always present.
And bring it into your conscious awareness.
And even allow yourself to go into the source from where the soul comes,
The source of all light and love.
Now if you have a question to ask.
Ask that question.
With clarity.
I do think it helps.
To actually ask the question.
And ask for guidance.
And ask for the direction that you need to take to fulfill what's best for you.
Just receive that energy.
And also be grateful.
Sometimes it doesn't come right away.
Sometimes it's not clear.
You know,
It might come in a dream or it might come through someone else.
It might come in many ways.
But know that you have asked.
And know that you will get guidance in many ways.
And be grateful that that energy is present there.
And allow that feeling of peace that comes after you feel like,
Okay.
I went within and I asked for my guidance.
And be open to understanding any way it may come to you.
Now slowly come out of your meditation.
And it really helps once you do to allow yourself to write down.
Speak into your phone or some way to share the messages that come.
It opens that communication.
It opens that doorway to the higher self.
To your conscious mind.
