Have Fallen Often

This is this commitment to spirit? What About our way to serve? What do we do with the guidance that comes that is hard to accept? So many questions and so many ways to live. This is a piece from my latest album I did witht the, very talented musician, Stephen Melillp, that explores some of those big life questions.

It's impossible to know all the answers,

It'd be nice to know the reasons why we are faced with the opportunities and the challenges that we find in our life.

There's such great beauty,

There's such great compassion that you can find if you look at the real reasons of what's going on inside.

And still there may not be enough to be able to control what you need to do to make a difference in the life you choose.

It seems so easy when you're young,

It seems like you can find all the answers and know what's supposed to be done,

But times can change and sometimes life is very strange and you have to try to understand that there is a bigger plan.

It may not be so easy to live that way where you can find what to do that's best to do to help humankind,

But still there is this calling,

There is this inner guidance that you can find,

There's this higher purpose that keeps asking you to serve humankind.

And so we try our best and if we're lucky we find that place inside that gives us that meaning and guides us to the rest of what it is we are supposed to serve and do in life.

And you learn you don't have all the answers and you learn that that's okay,

That if you really trust in God you'll be guided to find how to serve in the best way and you honor that love that's there and you see that light that you can find and you are guided to what you can do to try to serve that light inside.

It's a long,

Long journey and it's sometimes hard to find the best way to do what you can do in life to help others on the way.

There's this grace and there's this glory and there's this deeper meaning that you find that helps you on your journey and gives you enough guidance there inside.

And so you say thank you God for whatever it is supposed to be,

Let me be a servant and aid in any way I can to fulfill my destiny.
