A very big Aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and I wanted to talk and do a meditation on the power and the great gift you get from being able to go inside and get that inner strength that's there.
I have myself been going through testing times and I don't think I'm the only one.
It and also have a higher point of view.
Often it's easy to get swept up in a lot of the social media and things that are online and things that are on TV that are triggers that are going on for good reason.
I mean they're each is their own way of addressing what they think is happening and unfortunately social media and TV get more views if they are more extreme.
You don't get a lot of views if you are just being very level-headed because people are overloaded with input they're getting so they want something extreme to get their attention and people give them something extreme.
I used to do a lot of TV and I've done a lot of radio over the years and I know how it manipulates people to listen and to get attention in times when there's a lot of other ways to get attention.
So I think we have to really be aware of how we can get drawn into that and how the role of ourselves is our own power source and our also the power of meditation and going within can actually help you in testing times.
It's so valuable if you know that resource and then it also it's important to be able to watch what might trigger you and your reactions and so this requires not only what I always like to suggest people do is go into meditation every morning but then it also requires I think more now conscious awareness throughout the day of what is going on and the way people are reacting from what they are getting input from.
In other words you have to really be able to maintain a certain awareness and a centeredness and understanding I think more than ever when people are being triggered more than ever.
Very interesting times really truly very interesting times and how do we do that well I know many of you meditate every morning or every day and that is really a great starting point that's a very valuable starting point because then you have that core and when you have that core what I believe now more than ever is needed is to integrate that source as a resource throughout the day and you learned over time when you meditate you learn to be aware of your input at the input that's coming in from others and the input that's coming in from media and the input that's going basically throughout the vibration of wherever you are and what the energy field is because that has an input as well and I've always suggested that people make a point of not only meditating every day but of taking a walk in nature because that really is also another extremely valuable tool to come back to some kind of Center away from the media input I think if you can just do that if you can just meditate be more aware of the triggers take your walks and I think at the end of the day or the afternoon be able to clear out whatever may come in so that you have a clean slate now it seems easy but but you know it's it's not as easy as it sounds it takes a lot of awareness and it takes a skill that comes over time to really be aware of what is being influential in your life so I always love to have a meditation so that we can strengthen that inner awareness and I love to be able to go within and just go to that core base inside you and start with the breath hmm the lovely breath that sweeps your mind breathing in and holding and breathing out and just letting go letting go letting go breathing all the way out ah breathing in holding and breathing in holding and breathing out setting that tone and setting that intention to go deeper into your own consciousness with each breath and then being aware of the energy field around you and as always allow yourself to be bathed in a beautiful protective white light above you going all the way through you down below you on either side of you in front of you and behind you very helpful to have that protective white light ah feeling that wonderful energy surrounding you now as you take each breath breathing deeply in and releasing your breath allow yourself to direct that consciousness that you have to be aware be aware of how you are doing in this very moment how do you feel are your hands calm is your body and your mind calm or you possibly need to relax a little more and allow that energy to flow from your feet on up through your calves and your thighs and to that lovely base of the spine allowing that energy there to be recognized and that second chakra allowing yourself to experience the base feelings there in your core breathing that in and breathing out breathing on up to your third chakra and your second chakra allow yourself to go into that heart chakra that lovely core of your heart of hearts how does that heart feel how is that love in the center of your heart doing allow that love to spread and give you the love so you can feel that love and that presence of love how lovely is that love that love loves you so much you are loved you are loved to your very core by the truth of who you really are allow that truth to speak to you from your soul source that soul is watching out for you night and day allow yourself to recognize that gift and the power of your soul what a beautiful gift your soul is where does your soul get its energy from now yourself to travel to the source of energy feeds your soul the key that opens the door such a powerful beautiful opening when that door goes to that place where that truth of all truths lives with inside you that very source of all how would that source be your resource how would it guide you and protect you feel that love and that protection present here now allow that source to spread throughout your entire consciousness and allow it to come into your mind into your body into every single part of your awareness digested feel it recognize it and give thanks great thanks for this gift this beautiful gift of who you are so very precious and slowly allow yourself to come out of meditation but allow yourself also to be aware of any thought any feeling anything that you might want to be aware of I knew too that it helps to build that wonderful bridge from your conscious mind to the highest consciousness within you and I want to thank you from the deepest part of my heart I'm so grateful for you being there and being present God bless you always
