A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos.
It's always interesting to me how when we get nervous or full of tension.
That we're not aware a lot of times of what is.
Happens to our body and how our body reacts to that tension.
But there is a direct connection.
To what we are going through in our mind and how our body reacts to it.
And that's why when we go into meditation.
One of the very first things we do is take some deep,
Deep breaths.
And we do a body scan.
Because truthfully,
A lot of wonderful things can happen when you are just present and being and relaxed.
But when you start to go into meditation,
You start to notice as you're breathing.
As you start to go into that wonderful state within.
That you may not be aware of the tension in your mind.
Body.
It helps if you know where you store that tension.
For me,
I store a lot of it in my neck.
And that also can be in the jobs in the NED.
The head area.
Some people store more of their tension in their lower back.
I always like to suggest when you go into meditation that you become aware of your entire face area.
And it's amazing how you may be holding tension.
In your face without being aware of it.
So we'll just do a little example as we take some deep breaths in and out.
Go into the initial stages of meditation by just a force.
Of course,
Breathing is a key,
A wonderful key,
By breathing deeply in.
And holding your breath and breathing deeply out.
Going deeper into the breath,
Breathing deeply in.
And holding that breath.
And ah,
Just releasing.
Now as you are doing this,
You'll start to notice that your body will respond by relaxing more.
Breathing deeply in.
And holding and relaxing.
Now for me,
I just noticed that my neck cracked.
And as I go deeper into meditation,
I start to look at what's going on in the body.
With deep breaths in and now let's do an example of how you can relax that face area.
And the jaw.
And the head.
The neck and all that area that might be stored in storing tension.
You just kind of breathe in again,
Deeply focusing on what's going on in that face area.
We'll go first into the jaw.
Breathing deeply in.
And just noticing any tension that you might be holding in your jaw.
You could help by just touching your jaw.
You might feel tension there.
Start to release that tension in your jaw.
Just letting it go.
You might just open and close your mouth.
And start to feel that whole jaw area relaxing and letting go.
It's so nice to let go of that tension there.
Ah,
Nice.
I felt my throat wanting to clear at that point as well.
And that might be truly what you might experience also,
Because if you have tension in your jaw.
You might be storing it there and it might go into your throat.
Now let's go to that area in your face.
Around your eyes.
And it's interesting how you can actually store a lot of tension around the eye area.
We demand a lot of our.
Eyes to work for us as we're looking at things and watching TV and watching life around us.
Stressing sometimes about what we're seeing,
So just let the eyes relax.
The whole eye area.
Your eyebrows,
Eyelids.
All of the eye area there around the eyes relaxing.
Breathing deeply in and just letting go again,
Going deeper and deeper.
Now start to notice any tension around the ears.
The ears can hold tension.
See if you can relax that area of the energy around the ears.
Again,
If you open and close your mouth,
You might notice some of the tension.
And breathe in and just give some love to the ears for the work that your ears do.
They work very hard for you.
Now think of your forehead.
And allow that energy in the forehead.
You might even put your hand on your forehead and just allow the forehead to relax totally.
You should be noticing some of your whole head area relaxing now.
Going deeper and deeper.
Into that ability to relax,
To let go.
Ugh.
Feeling good.
Breathing deeply in.
Being grateful to our head for all the work it does.
Breathing in,
Holding and letting go.
Now think of the area above the head,
Directly above the head.
There's a lot of energy that comes in from above your head.
Clear any of that energy that might be receiving stuff that comes to you through that head area out.
Let it just be cleared,
The white light there.
Breathing deeply in.
And letting go,
Letting go,
And letting go.
Now you might start to notice that you're relaxing and that you're feeling good.
Mm-hmm.
Now,
Put a smile on your face.
There's been a lot of work done about the power of a smile for your face.
They've actually noticed that it can change the way you receive energies when you put a smile on your face.
See if you notice a difference with the smile on your face.
Breathing that smile in.
Being great.
Just ah,
Letting it go.
Breathing out with the ah.
And now we're ready to go deeper into our state of meditation.
You should notice that you're feeling much more open and receptive.
Breathe deeply in.
And allow that higher energy in.
A lovely auric energy around you,
The etheric energy.
To be full of light and protection.
It's very sensitive to that energy that you're going through every day.
And expand it,
Expand that energy protection all the way above you and below you.
And front and behind.
And let it just be expanded and present.
Ah,
Now you're open to receive the energy of your higher self and your soul.
And just let yourself be aware of that energy now beginning to flow.
Into your whole area of your mind.
And from your mind,
The awareness.
That flows through the entire energy of your body,
From your head to your toes.
Breathing it in.
Oh,
And I just had my neck crack again.
I'm breathing it out because there's new energy coming in.
Breathing deeply in.
And letting go,
Letting go.
Allow that energy from your soul to be open to receive that energy from the highest source of light.
Highest sort of source of love within you.
Just let a flow of energy,
Like a river of wonderful energy coming through all of you.
Just bathing you in this wonderful,
Powerful.
Gift,
This precious gift of your highest being.
Ugh.
Be aware of what you are sensing.
Breathing deeply in,
Absorbing that energy,
And breathing out.
And now take a few minutes just to be quiet as you.

Receive what's going on inside you.
Take a moment to love yourself.
To be grateful for who you are.
Send that love to all elements of yourself.
Receive that love gratefully.
Mmm,
What a wonderful gift this is,
This precious,
Precious gift.
Ah.
Feel that gratefulness surrounding and feeding you.
Ah,
And slowly allow yourself to come back.
To that place of consciousness.
Tying that connection up with that inner awareness in your mind to what may have been coming to you in some form.
Higher elements of yourself.
And that helps to bridge that gap too.
Remember that deepest part of you can talk to you,
Can communicate with you,
Can share with you.
Can give you an awareness of what's really going on in your life.
This is a great source to.

Call upon,
To reflect upon.
So slowly come out of your meditation.
Take a moment to.
.
.
Write any thoughts,
Any impressions.
Write it down.
Make a note.
And to be grateful.
To yourself for allowing yourself to grow.
Take that journey within.
To be aware of how precious your mind,
Your body,
And your emotions,
And your whole being,
And your soul is.
