Hello,

My name is Cindy Johns and it's my great pleasure to welcome you to this meditation for hope.

There's nothing you need to do except make yourself comfortable and let these words wash over you.

Receive them into your heart and let hope grow.

So let's begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Let your body be fully supported.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Again,

Breathe in,

Feeling the air fill your lungs and exhale,

Letting go of any tension.

Let yourself arrive fully into this moment.

Root down through your body,

Feel your breath as the bridge between earth and sky.

There is nothing you need to do,

No place you need to be.

Just be here with your breath.

And now we welcome hope.

I am safe in this moment.

I am safe in this moment.

I return to my breath and I find peace.

I return to my breath and I find peace.

With each breath,

I root myself deeper into the present.

Even in uncertainty,

I am held by life.

Even in uncertainty,

I am held by life.

Let's take a deep breath in and release through our mouth.

Feeling tension leave your body.

Hope lives quietly in my heart.

I choose to listen.

I trust in the slow,

Sacred unfolding of my path.

Like a seed beneath the soil,

I know growth begins in the dark.

I believe in the possibility of good things to come.

Hope is not a demand or a promise,

It is a presence I welcome in.

Hope is not a demand or a promise,

It is a presence I welcome in.

Hope is not a demand or a promise,

It is a presence I welcome in.

Hope is not a demand or a promise,

It is a presence I welcome in.

I have weathered many seasons.

I have stood through many storms.

My roots are strong.

My branches still reach for the light.

Light always finds its way back,

And so do I.

I trust that life is moving in my favour,

Even when I can't yet see the way.

Take a deep breath in,

With a full exhale,

And let your body soften further.

I allow myself to dream of a brighter future.

My hope is tender but not fragile.

It is wild and living,

Like new green shoots after a fire.

I take one small sacred step at a time.

I am co-creating a life of meaning,

Beauty and joy.

I shine my hope like a lantern,

Lighting the way forward.

Hope lives in me,

I feel it now.

Hope lives in me,

I feel it now.

I honour the quiet part of me that never gave up.

I am rooted in the earth,

I am open to the sky.

I carry hope with me,

Gently,

Steadily,

Truly.

I carry hope with me,

Gently,

Steadily,

Truly.

In this moment,

I am whole.

In this moment,

I am enough.

In this moment,

I am enough.

In this moment,

I am enough.

I breathe in peace,

And I breathe out hope.

I breathe in peace,

And I breathe out hope.

I breathe in peace,

And I breathe out hope.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Gently wiggle your fingers,

And now your toes.

Ever so softly,

Open your eye,

And let yourself land back in the space you are in.

And now return to your day with the quiet knowing that hope lives here,

In you.

Namaste.
