Get into a comfortable position.

Relax.

Breathe in and out gently and effortlessly.

Allow your mind to be open and accepting of the possibilities of peace.

Continue to relax and take a few breaths.

Prepare your mind and body for the next few moments.

At times the world seems so vast.

You may feel like an observer watching events happen but never really being a part of them.

At times the friendships seem superficial.

You feel a lack of inclusion and loneliness can start to settle in.

At times we may lose focus and the direction and goals in our lives can feel distant and unreachable.

At times we may feel lost,

Unsure where to turn,

What next step to take or how to make a better plan.

Dear one,

You are not alone.

I am with you.

We are here together in this moment learning to be present and needing nothing more than this.

All of the expectations you have put upon yourself are to be set aside just for this moment.

The world is no more vast than you make it in your mind.

We are all connected by our human experiences.

More similar and alike if we choose to see it.

We all feel the same emotions.

Humans seek joy and love.

Even the familiarness of simple pleasures binds our spirits.

Recall a time when you noticed the smell of fresh coffee brewing in the morning.

Or a time when you stopped to recognize Jasmine blooming in a garden.

The sense and sweetness took your breath away.

In the same way,

We are all connected by thoughts,

Experiences,

And hopes for joyful beginnings.

Hot bread baking in the oven and belly laughter that brings tears to our eyes.

And love that makes us ache.

We are all connected by our human experiences.

Dear one,

Instead of swimming in a pool of loneliness,

Let us turn to notice the friendships and connectedness can be nurtured by each of us.

Such as gentle smiles,

A kind wave to a familiar face in a market you frequent.

Opening a door for a stranger in need.

Greeting a neighbor as they walk their playful puppy around the block for that evening stroll.

Sitting amid the morning sun.

Watching the Duke listen on the grass.

And loving yourself for all you are and all you have yet to become.

All of these simple gestures from you have nurtured a soul.

As you seek to regain focus in your life.

And find a direction.

Or path in life.

Know the support and love of the universe.

And the oneness we have created.

Will remain with you.

Your internal self is growing.

And maturing.

And filling the space you once thought was empty.

As you nurture yourself.

The void becomes filled with hope.

Love.

And ultimate joy.

As you greet a sense of togetherness.

With a power greater than yourself.

Once you greet this power.

And seek it out daily.

The loneliness fades.

And is replaced.

With peace.

And if there ever is another moment.

Will you feel lost.

And unsure where to turn.

Recall the great power of oneness.

Find faith in knowing that all things change.

Sadness turns to joy.

Sorrow fades.

Loneliness drifts.

And with our new discovery of oneness.

You are not alone.

Filling your body with love and light.

Go forth knowing you are loved.

You are working towards something beautiful.

You are creating the change you want to be in the world.
