Welcome to this guided meditation to learn how to change your mantra.

Get into a comfortable position.

Whether you are seated or lying down does not matter.

Find a safe quiet space where you can be free for a few moments from distraction or concern.

Wherever you are is perfect.

Just taking this moment to let your thoughts care for you and guide you into a higher state of thinking.

A higher consciousness if you will.

Allowing yourself this time.

Feeling deserving to honor yourself and seeking to raise and lift your vibration.

The energy you present to others.

The energy you carry with you.

Take a few deep breaths on your own.

And open your mind to the possibility of seeing something in a new light.

A new perspective.

Now that you are more relaxed,

Let us continue to breathe without any thought towards breath.

Knowing this relaxation will occur naturally and completely without any effort at all.

Now if the time is right for you,

I ask that you open your mind and look upon your own thoughts.

Ask yourself,

How do I speak to myself?

Give yourself a moment to really look.

Analyze.

What is my internal dialogue?

Am I harsh to myself?

Do I use words that are counterproductive naturally?

Do I criticize my physical appearance?

Am I too fat or too thin?

My skin's imperfect.

Do I negate my own abilities?

Do I tell myself I need to be smarter,

Faster,

Funnier,

More outgoing,

Less outgoing?

Who am I supposed to be?

And whose standards am I not living up to?

It must be difficult never measuring up to yourself.

After all,

When you have a person in your life who is not showing you love and kindness and respect,

We can oftentimes remove ourself physically,

Emotionally from the contact.

However,

When the person who is not offering love and kindness and respect is our internal self,

There is no escape.

How would it feel if you looked in the mirror and began to love the reflection?

Just as it is.

What would it be like if you truly understood how perfectly human we all are?

What would it be like for you if the challenges and expectations that you put upon yourself were not painful each day?

What if you saw them more as a joyful goal to work toward?

Acknowledging that even making a failure toward your future goals is still progress.

It's still more information than you previously had.

What if you changed your internal mantra from I am not to I am?

I am strong both mentally and physically.

I am learning each day about new discoveries and opportunities.

I am imperfect.

I am growing every day on my spiritual journey.

I am lovable.

I am loved.

I am flawed and I am supposed to be.

I ask you to find three new mantras we have discussed or add a new one that perfectly suits you and your spiritual journey where you are today.

A mantra that will lovingly guide you to a higher consciousness.

When selecting your mantra ask yourself what are three ideas that you need to release yourself from and give grace to.

As you're thinking of these ensure that you're doing so from a place of love and respect.

With me now let us begin to wear a new mantra.

Saying I am loved.

I am in progress.

I will give myself a safe space to grow and learn.

And I accept all of me.

I am loved.

I am in progress.

I will give myself a safe space to grow and learn.

I accept all of me.

I am loved.

I am in progress.

I will give myself a safe space to grow and learn.

I accept all of me.

I would like you to release the old mantra that you have carried with you.

It no longer serves you.

Take off the veil of negativity.

Remove the webs of self-doubt.

Break free of the anxiety the judgment and fear that bind us.

Release yourself from comparison of others.

And look to yourself with love.

Visualize a white bright radiant light spilling upon you.

Fill yourself with acceptance.

As you are.

Basically as you are.

Giving yourself grace to grow,

Learn,

Make mistakes,

And love yourself anyway.

What a beautiful vibration you have just created.

Look upon yourself with this new love and practice this mindfully until it becomes as natural as your breath.

Allow yourself to float in this space of love and peace for as long as is perfect for you.

Let's continue.
