Welcome back to our monthly meditation.
Take a moment to get comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your body rest and let your breath guide you.
Inhale deeply through your nose.
Hold it gently and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench and allow your thoughts to settle like snow falling in stillness.
This is your moment to pause,
To reflect,
And to reset.
As the year comes to a close,
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale the weight of the last 12 months.
Every high,
Every low,
Every lesson.
You made it here and that's what matters.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Gently ask yourself,
What am I proud of this year?
Let an answer rise without forcing it.
Is it a moment of strength?
A shift in mindset?
Maybe it's a boundary you honored.
Whatever it is,
Acknowledge it.
Now ask yourself,
What am I ready to release?
Is it old habits?
Old narratives or old energy?
Imagine it leaving your body with each exhale.
Gone with the breath,
Released with the passing year.
Now gently turn toward the year ahead.
With a soft heart and a clear mind,
Ask yourself,
Who do I want beside me in the new year?
Whose energy uplifts me,
Inspires me,
Or holds me accountable to my growth?
What kind of energy do I want to embody?
Is it peace,
Power,
Or purpose?
Visualize yourself carrying that energy into every room,
Every decision,
And every sunrise.
What doors do I want to open in the new year?
What are you ready to welcome?
Say it silently or aloud.
I am open to.
Accept it.
Let your breath anchor that vision and feel it rooting into your body.
You don't have to have all the answers today,
But you do get to choose the energy you carry forward.
You do get to choose who walks with you,
And you do get to believe that something beautiful is on its way.
So take one final breath in,
Full of possibility,
And exhale,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Begin to bring awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
This new chapter is yours.
Go write something powerful.
I love y'all.
Peace.
