Beyond Words ( A Song For Loss & Trauma )

I self-produced this Organica track in response to the recent and devastating shooting of my cousins in their home in Israel. The mother shielded their teenage son who then lay trapped under her body for 12 hours: a tragic mirror of her grandmother’s fate. In addition to honouring their lives, and the importance music was to them, I wish to also spread comfort, and to raise money for their three surviving children and futures. The story has been widely in the news internationally. The title of this track also refers to my own personal vocal journey the last months, going from sudden loss to rehabilitation, and shifting my focus to exploring vowel sounds and returning to my classical guitar roots. The soundscape features binaural field recordings made on my travels.
