Welcome to this short aura cleansing meditation.
This is perfect if you're feeling stagnant,
Uninspired,
Or just need a breath of fresh air into your life.
Start by finding a comfortable seated position either on the floor with your legs crossed or in a chair with your feet firmly on the floor.
Let's begin by taking five rounds of deep cleansing breaths and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and on your final exhale audibly let go.
Rest your hands either in your lap or on your knees and just feel the warm gentle weight on your legs.
Notice how gravity grounds you.
The weight pressing into your feet,
Your toes,
Maybe the spaces where your seat connects with the floor,
And just feel the strong stable presence of the earth beneath you supporting you.
As you breathe start to feel a warm light directly in front of your heart center like the warm sun at the beach or on a sunny day that feels nourishing,
Reassuring.
Feel the warm spread over your chest and face filling you with a calming nourishing light.
On your next inhale feel that warm nurturing energy move gently into your heart center in the center of your body.
Notice the way that warmth and energy spreads through your chest,
Through your belly,
Up into your throat,
Through your pelvis and legs,
Down to your toes,
Through your shoulders and arms,
To your fingertips,
Up through your throat,
Into your head,
And take a moment to just breathe feeling that warm contentment fill your body.
As you continue to breathe imagine that warm nourishing light filling every cell gently running through your veins,
Along your muscles,
Strengthening your bones and tendons,
Pushing out any tension,
Any worry,
Any stress,
So that your whole body is made of the same light.
Take a deep breath and on the next exhale imagine that light extending out beyond the borders of your body into the space around you,
Enveloping you like a warm blanket.
Feel the space just outside of your skin letting the light clear away any negativity,
Any frustrations,
Any worries.
If you'd like you can take your hands and brush away gently the air around you removing any final bits of stagnation,
Uncertainty,
Letting the light create a sense of openness and calm.
Starting to notice again the areas of your body that are touching the floor or your chair.
Just gently bringing your attention back to those spaces that connect you with the earth.
Gently letting that grounding energy begin to spread up your legs through your torso,
Arms,
Into your hands,
All the way up to your head.
So that that warm light feeling is grounded on the earth.
Gently take your hands and place them one over the other over your heart center,
Feeling the rising and falling of your breath,
Your heartbeat.
When you're ready begin to gently blink your eyes open,
Noticing any changes in your body,
Maybe wiggling your fingers gently,
Your toes pressing into the floor.
