This meditation is designed to address feelings of overwhelm, stress, and anxiety. After a few guided breaths, we'll focus on Peace, both in and outside of ourselves. By the end of this meditation, I hope you feel more at peace, more grounded, and more centred.

This short peace meditation is for anyone feeling overwhelmed by the news,

By life,

By work anyone reintegrating post-COVID to what was normal before I've found it really helpful over the past couple of weeks and I hope you do too so when you're ready find a nice quiet place and sit comfortably or lie down if you'd prefer close your eyes or look at a point just in front of your nose and let's begin by taking three deep breaths into your belly and exhale inhale and exhale inhale and exhale you might already be feeling some stress or worry somewhere in your body maybe between your eyebrows maybe in your belly in your hands,

Your feet some things sort of clenching together,

Holding on to everything on your next inhale,

Imagine that nice fresh breath going to wherever that feeling is located in your body you might not know,

Just feel it out wherever the breath goes and exhale over the next couple of minutes we're going to take just a series of simple inhalations and exhalations I like to mentally say to myself either peace or shanti you could say pax,

Pause,

Whatever word best conjures peace for you in your language or any other depending on how you're feeling you might want to focus this peace inside into your forehead or your heart or depending on how you're feeling you might want to imagine that peace radiating outside of your body going to another place or another person you could even imagine peace coming in and out of your body so for the next few minutes we're just going to sit together and breathe in and out peace if anything else comes up just imagine it floating away like a leaf on a river please stay here as long as you'd like or as long as you need but if you're ready to end this meditation let's take one deep breath together and exhale take any motions or movements that you need rolling your wrists,

Tilting your head from side to side and be gentle with yourself as you go about the rest of your day thank you for sharing this time with me
