Welcome back to another serious or short guided meditation in poetry as meditation.
A reminder that poetry as meditation is something felt deeply in the skin and the cells of our being.
And the language of our psyche.
As well as in the ever-flowing moment of our feelings and space.
So please drop away any awareness of the logic mind.
And begin your practice by closing down into the eyes allowing this space around you to wrap you.
In presence.
Dilute in any intention to arrive anywhere.
And to be anything.
So as to feel yourself arriving deeper into the layers of your skin.
And may you be reminded that you are a small microcosm of the big microcosm of life.
And that this moment matters.
However you arrive and however you wish to live.
And please draw yourself closer to the texture of the body.
The clothing wrapping around the skin.
And the breeze caressing the areas where our unwrapped.
Open.
Invite a softening and a arrival to the belly.
Has to give the organs space to breathe and sense.
And in the arrival of the stomach and the belly and the organs.
Sense your awareness going into air.
The breath in through the nostrils arriving into cradle into the lungs.
And with that same breath out arriving into the space around you as to meet in two points.
You are forever safe to explore the areas in your body as you wish.
And at any moment you can crack the eyes open if needed.
Take the sense back into the breath,
The air flowing from the outside in and from the inside out.
Just like a current of water.
A bit of space in the air arriving deeper into the sense of being and here.
And in that current of air arriving in the subtle movement that the breath does in the body.
You might recognise it in the tummy or the lungs or the chest or the throat.
Wherever that reflection is of air into the body.
Place your attention gently there.
Be so quiet in the space of the recognition of the breath in the body.
You may notice a little gentle move or urge to sway the body If you're seated on your sit bones it might be a rock from one sit bone to another.
If you're lying on the bed it might be a little gentle rock of one ear to the shoulder,
The other ear to the shoulder.
As to cradle yourself in the air around you.
And continue inviting a sense of awareness to the breath arriving in the tummy or the lungs or the throat.
Allow this space of silence to Navigate the breath perhaps in a more longer rhythm.
Or subtle rhythm.
More depth and more space between the in and out.
To reflect the environment around you,
In the space of the silence,
The space of the breath returns.
And so you merge with synchronicity of light.
And the ecosystem and your environment and your body.
Returning to a place of equanimity.
Returning to a place of space.
Of wonder.
And continue cradling the body from one side to another.
Inviting gentle movements of the hips if you're seated the head.
The brain cradles through the skull.
Untangling the muscles from the bones.
Through the space of sound.
Or the space of breath.
The space of muscle.
The space of bone.
Please place your attention.
Into the eye gaze with the eyes closed,
How you sense into the darkest spaces of the eyes.
With flickers of colours through the eyes,
Flickers of different greys and shades and darks Return to the sense of eyes.
On your next inhale,
Allow the breath to return to the lungs.
Pause.
And as you exhale crack the eyes open,
Return to the space around you
