Hello and welcome.
Find a comfortable position.
Let your body land wherever it naturally wants to land.
You do not need to sit perfectly.
You do not need to do this right.
Take a slow breath in and let it fall out of your mouth.
Again,
In and out.
Sometimes you just feel off and that's okay.
Having a good mood is not a requirement for being grounded.
It's not a requirement for being powerful and it's not a requirement for being connected to yourself.
This moment right here is not a failure.
It's a reclamation of self.
Let your breath move naturally.
No forcing,
No shaping,
Just noticing.
Notice where your body feels heavy.
Notice where it feels quiet.
Notice where you feel distant from yourself.
Not to change it,
Just to witness it.
Silently repeat out loud or in your mind,
I am allowed to feel how I feel.
I don't abandon myself when my mood drops.
I stay right here.
Take a breath in,
Letting that settle with you.
Reclaiming isn't loud.
It often happens right here in the quiet moments when you choose not to turn away from yourself.
You're doing so good.
Repeat after me out loud or in your mind,
I am still here.
I belong to myself.
Feel the support beneath you,
The chair,
The floor,
The bed,
Wherever you are,
And let yourself be held in this moment.
Take another breath.
Low mood does not mean that you've lost your voice.
It just means that you're being asked to listen a little bit differently.
You can move slower.
You can need less from yourself today.
You can meet yourself where you are without any pressure.
You can place a hand over your heart,
Stomach,
Or wherever your body is asking for contact,
And let this be a quiet return.
And you can say these affirmations throughout your day,
Right now,
With me,
Later on,
When you're feeling that low mood again,
Whenever you need them.
I reclaim my presence.
I reclaim my breath.
I reclaim my right to exist exactly as I am.
No performance,
No fixing,
No climbing out,
Right?
Just returning.
Even here,
I am connected to my truth.
Even here,
I am allowed to take up space.
Even here,
I am coming back to myself.
Take one more slow breath in,
And out,
And as you begin to return to yourself,
Wiggle your fingers,
Open your eyes,
Whatever feels right for you in this moment,
I want you to carry this with you through your day.
Reclaiming doesn't begin when you feel strong.
It begins the moment you stop leaving yourself.
Thank you so much for spending this time with me.
I hope the rest of your day feels a little bit lighter,
And a little bit more full of love for yourself.
And I pray that you continue this journey of honoring and coming back to yourself.
Blessed Be.
