Welcome,
Today we will reconnect with our inner child.
So find a comfortable place,
Close your eyes and let's take three deep breaths here.
Let's breathe in deep and exhale,
Deep breath in and exhale,
Breathe in again and exhale.
So let's take a moment to find silence in ourselves and I want you to now start imagining a safe place,
Joyful place.
It could be a place you have never been there but it's just in your imagination.
It could be a place you go very often where you feel safe,
It could be a garden,
A cozy room or a memory of your past.
It is a beautiful place where you feel joy and you feel safe.
So go to that place right now and I want you to sit,
Visualize that place and everything that surrounds you.
Find peace in that place.
And now imagine a golden light in your heart that is arising,
Is warm and is nurturing your heart.
This is your inner child's pure awareness.
Slowly and little by little,
See your younger self there in front of you,
Walking towards you and start looking at him or her from the toes to the head,
Observe his or her feet,
Feet,
Shoes,
Legs,
Body,
Arms,
Chest,
Neck and slowly start to see the face and notice,
Observe his eyes or her eyes and smile at him,
At her,
Little by little,
Observe what happened to you when you saw him or her.
Remember you're safe in this place.
And very slowly and silently say,
I see you,
You are safe with me.
Notice how he or her responds,
Notice the face,
It's he or her smiling.
What does the child says?
Does the child want to play,
Want to draw,
Want to sit,
Wants to sit with you?
So spend a moment here letting your child guide you and ask her or him what does he needs,
What are his needs?
Notice what does your child wants to do with you right now.
Stay there for a minute and have a little conversation like if you're an aunt or uncle that comes from a long time ago to visit the child.
Just have a conversation with the child for a couple of minutes.
Stay there.
Let memories or images arise without judgment.
And if any distraction comes,
Return to the golden light.
Spend a few minutes here with your child.
What is he or her saying?
Maybe he's not talking and just wants to hang out with you.
If your mind wanders,
Gently return to the golden light.
Stay there.
And if the child wants to play,
Notice what he or her wants to play.
Ask what is your favorite game?
What does he want to do?
What does she wants to do?
And go for it.
Bring that playfulness to this moment.
Bring that creativity to this moment with your inner child.
Bring that joy to this moment and to your inner child.
Stay there for a couple of minutes.
If any distractions come,
Remember to return to the golden light.
To your heart.
Slowly,
Little by little,
Go back to the place where you were at the beginning of the practice.
Thank your inner child.
Feel the joy merge with the playful light.
Take three deep breaths here.
And sensing this deep connection.
Inhale deep.
And exhale.
Inhale deep.
And exhale.
Inhale deep.
And exhale.
Remember to say goodbye to your child.
Let him know that you will be back again soon.

Slowly wiggle your fingers.
